Corporate Office of Disney: Would you like to play a DJ set at our location for xxx amount of dollars (probally around 100Gs) and have huge exposure to an audience you might not usually reach and gain more fans and in turn more people at your shows and buying your CDs meaning more money for you down the road on top of the huge amount of cash we are going to pay you to play here in the first place?

Although i "DO" think Tiesto with all his concerts, olympics and disney is really cheesy...and it looks really bad...i can also say that the man is going for his.
People NEED to remember that these DJs do this as their career and not a side gig between other jobs. This is their lively hood. Does it suck for us? Ya a bit. But Tiesto has no retirement plan from a corporate firm, not health benefits from his job and no stability in a good company. Everything he does is by his own doing. If he can millions from this then i say good for him.....grab it while you can...cus no one wants to see a 50 year old DJ spinning tracks at a club.
I think people tend to forget that. |
oh i'm well aware of the fact that both guys are rolling, i'm just sayin' that Oakey BLOWS now and he doesn't care... the only reason hes still getting gigs is because of all the breezahs that see his name only:( |

I know for a fact PvD wouldn't do it, as in one of his latest interviews (yes the one bashing Tiësto) he said that edm should "stay in clubs". I still think the disney thing is a little over the top, but stay in clubs? Is he retarded? :rolleyes: |

Well thats the point....Tiesto did it for the money nothing more. And you people ARE bashing him for that when in reality you, Paul, Sasha and everyone else would do the same thing Tiesto did for the right price....maybe your price is higher then Tiesto's...but u still have a price that u WOULD do it for...understand? |
