Dance Invasion 2005 with Scooter September 9th, 2005 mini-review:
I ended up plopping down $200 on a super-ty weekend.
Erik K's warmup set was banging. Lots of awesome trance hits. I liked Eirk K throughout the night. Other DJ's were fun with their Italy-house and silly house anthems. I hated the Benassi Bros because of Sandi - very much House which I did not like. None of the DJ's there, not even Scooter, had any crowd interaction. ANY. Not even pointing and smiling.
Super friendly crowd and Scooter rocked it. I had very much fun :D.
Party ended at 11 PM, 1 hour EARLY! Then they kicked everyone out of the arena within 15 minutes. I am so angry about this. I thought the party was going to go until 2 from what I heard on the internet. It wasn't even a 5-hour dance party like it was advertised on all flyers - it was only 4.
Fat greedy promoter ($95 tickets for THAT pathetic 4-hour show) promised he would get my group of friends into the afterparty club - of course, no dice. Wasted 1.5 hours right there. :nervous:
Very mixed feelings about this weekend.:clown:  |

| Sounds about as as expected. I can't believe you and a bunch of other people actually forked over nearly 100 bucks for that. |

You are officially not allowed to post reviews anymore...
And you may be slightly learning disabled... I'd go check that out...

Hey guys, I'll be in town for a week from the 13th to the 20th and would like to know where to go to hear some great Trance? I'm more into the uplifting stuff than Progressive or sth. like that.
And is there any special event during this timeframe?
Thanks for any hints :) |
