That's unfortunate because I missed out on a crobar event, since I look at that list a lot (and the Purefuture one)...Its the best source other than looking at 50 different webpages for chicago events that I've seen. Although no, I didn't know it wasn't covering everthing. :( |

Wow - Good on Jamie Amato for bringing Holden in, I wonder how often he's planning on having nights like this at Smartbar?
As for Smartbar itself, I've never been there, so I'm clueless, sorry man :(
I'm definitely interested in seeing just what Amato brings to the table as their Music Director though... Looking like he's off to a good start :) |

Smart-Bar is the best club in the city.

I would actually be immensely interested in seeing Holden at SB; Vision is a terrible venue for him. |

Whassup everyone!
Im new here (both to this forum and the city).
But I guess no matter where we come from, we all share one thing in common- we're TAs.
Anyways, I just moved here by myself from LA, and I don't know too many hot spots here in Chi-town. But I'm down to hit up any sick events that y'all are going to.
Btw, I dunno if anyone was in LA on NYE for GIANT MAXIMUS, but it was pretty dope man. Corsten, Van Buren, Sasha, Digweed... Man, one of the best nights of my life!

I'm from LA too but just here for a week!
I may checkout smartbar saturday night (tonight!) before heading over to crobar... if anyone wants to meet up and go (or has a better suggestion on where to go).. PM me asap! I'd love to see how people party here in Chicago it's my first time here.

| We have all events still going on. We are booked well into the year and have a GREAT 2007 lined up for Chicago. I will post upcoming event info soon! |

| hey, ill be in chicago from march 2-4 and was goin to hit up either soundbar for scumfrog or smartbar for holden and was wondering about dress codes, crowds and the like...ill be takin a friend whos never been clubbing so im torn btwn the two since holden is technically proficient but his sets aren't too danceable sometimes (in my experience) but any advice or tips about the two venues would be appreciated, thanks :) |
