If Tiesto put Chicago on my map, I'd give it right back to him...

:D

Lucid and UWM need to have a Photochop-off!

I need to be on the list too!

I'm trying to decide if I want to take a road trip down to Armin, or if I should save some $$ for some shows coming up.. I'd love to go to every show.. but I'm poor.. :o)

Armin is the best DJ to see live. If there's one show not to miss, I would say this one:) I just wish that it could be at the Riviera or Aragon. I like Vision but it is gonna be cramped.

I remember hearing Tiesto spin at a small club in Denver in Jan 2000. Small, intimate, awesome energy. I speak Dutch so I actually got to sit and talk with him for a few minutes back then. Pretty cool.

I think he apexed with In Search of Sunrise 3 and after Nyana, in my opinion, two things happened:

1. Lost his affinity to spin basically any good melodic/progressive. In Search of Sunrise 3 rules!:) He just seems so consistently hard trance now (just not my thing).

2. Paul Oakenfold syndrome. A "music for the masses" type DJ. I don't doubt his ability or his marketing abilities, but I HATE that I have to pay $45 or more to see him now, only to be trampled by a mob. Unfortunately, Armin is also becoming quite expensive to see, but at least he spins consisently amazing tracks:) (BTW, I listened to "Boundaries of Imagination" the other day--CLASSIC!)
