I didn't drink at all that night (well, like 5 beers which is the same thing).
Here's my review of BT in December.
He came on around 1 am. And started spreading cheese. "Love Comes Again", another track from "Just Be" - don't remember which one - and an older Tiesto track. Then there was a "Smells Like Teen Spirit" remix in there somewhere. Then I think he played minesweeper for a while on his laptop. Then I went into the DJ booth and since he wasn't doing anything he let me check my email and make a few posts on TA. Then I went to get him a Perrier and he said he would play "Sparkles" for me (I didn't ask for that song, I asked for Haddaway). Later on, we fired up World Of Warcraft on his laptop and went on a quest for a while (this was all during the set, I think he threw in ISOS 4 in and just let it run). BT won the Axe of Troll-slaying +3 to troll slaying and +5 to charisma. At 3 am sharp, the music was cut off. Dead silence in the club. BT got on the mic and started telling us how much he loved Chicago and how it has such great fans. At this point he dodged several bottles which were being hurled with sniper-like accuracy at the booth. Then Jay Prasad handed him a giant novelty check for $20,000 in the booth and BT struck a jesus pose for us, I think this one was his 8th or 9th of the night. Then he pumped his fist into the air a few times and displayed the giant check for all peon clubbers to see. They were mesmerized by the 4 zero's. Then BT packed up his stuff and ran to the bank and then the airport. He had trouble getting the check through the door, though. Someone finally told him to turn it sideways.
I think there was some other that went down, but that's all I remember.
P.S. He gave me a backrub. |

Seriously, if you don't believe me - ask Andy, he was there. I had to hold him down, otherwise he was going to deck BT for playing only 2 hours and cutting out early.
When BT was leaving, I could already see people brandishing pitchforks and torches in the crowd. I have no ing idea where they got pitchforks and torches from. |
