Now there is a question - I would like answered!!! LOL!!! ;)

Just to offer my 2 cents.... I'd say the party that requests the company of the other should be the one to cover the associated expenses.

now that is an "intelligent" response - your "morals" obviously do not mandate you to spit out vicious slandering bigotred remarks - thanks man for an accurate response to the question posed......:D

Dont try to make an issue out of nothing

no you "CLEARLY" didn't say - (the smugness) was quite clear/apparant though......

Notice I never "CLEARLY" said that you are BIGOTED in your response to my question?

I hardly know you - that would be judgemental - benefit of the doubt should always be extended unless there is reason to believe one way or the other...........

yes it was obvious because tone of voice really shines through on a message board right?

Saying i dont care about something or saying that i dont like dating men is OK and i make no apologies. What would be wrong would be to say something like "men shouldnt be dating men anyways so who cares?"

Tolerence doesnt mean you have to shut your mouth about your own likes and dislikes.

Actually, I do not believe in morality therefore I see no wrong in homosexuality, thus no bigotry.

BTW, did you actually find Jay's response to bigotred? I could see the remark as dismissive, disapproving, offensive (I personally was not offended but I could see how one could be), but I fail to see hatred in it. That being said, I'm no a gay man and I suppose I would be less in tune to such a thing.

people can read into anything they want to...

I dont like dating men... i dismiss the idea of myself dating men, i disapprove of myself dating men, im offended by the idea of myself dating men and thats the way it is. To look beyond those ideas in my statement is reaching at best.

That doesnt mean i dont think others should be able to or that i look down on it.

Sheesh!!

Agreed, however saying that "hopefully you will never be in that situation" (sorry if I misquoted you but it was something to that affect) marginalizes anyone who is in that situation. Certainly, you can understand how this could be perceived as a slam/insult. I don't think there was anything wrong with saying how you feel, however, your sentaments could have been worded better. Perhaps a better response would have been "I do not know as I have never been in that situation and have never given it thought as it is quite likely I will never encounter that instance."
