Jesus ... I'm so spechless.
This review is only regarding the Kool Haus. I was having way too much fun!
This party was ing amazing! It's so refreshing to hear Jungle again! I danced so much and danced so in' hard my legs were messed up for most of the night. (I have many witnesses:P) I should of stretched before hand, since I haven't danced in awhile. I vote this to be the party of 2005 for me so far. So many friendly and hot girls in the Kool Haus. Random girls would just come up and intro themselfs. Honestly, felt like a massive jungle rave. The vibe was unreal tonight, the energy was nuts and most importaintly ... everyone was dancing. Rgardless if they were good or not, ppl were out to have fun. The whole room was bouncing! Now I realize how much I miss the jungle parties. So many old faces I haven't seen in awhile too.
DJ ZINC - His timeslot got switched and he was the first UK headliner on. Played some girly tunes at first and then I can tell he couldn't hold back at all! Started playin' the proppa ! Outstanding mixing as always, this guy mixes like PvD. Smoothest mixing and cutting!
MC Eskmen - Wasn't annoying at all this time. His skills improved a lot from the last time I saw him 2 yrs ago.
DJ Friction - He's finaly build his sound proppa. Wasn't into his tunes, but now I can tell he got the ball rolling. Saw him also two yrs ago and this guy was all over the map.
MC SP - First time hearing this guy and he was great. Not annoying at all and had a nice flow.
About this time, I got too tired and hungry. Jspot and I left and got some food.
Sound system wasn't tuned at all at first, but suddenly, everything was adjusted! Sounded so nice and clean!
For those who haven't been to jungle party, you should try at least once when there are multi- rooms. You'll realize how "things are so different" - Expresso

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the music he was playing. From his first tune to the last he had me going all night long and from the looks of it others were really enjoying his set as well. The only negative thing I can think of (the geeky trainspotter in me :o didnt like this) about his set was that he played alot of older / recognizable tunes but aside from that I thought he was AWESOME and I can't wait for him to come back and play here. Easily one of my fav DJS out there right now.
I followed up Fan-Chew-Lee's set in the main room by heading up to the Drink. Good tunes up there and it wasnt as rammed and stinky as it was downstairs. I stuck around for a bit but I was out of there by 3am. I would have liked to have seen Deep Dish but I was tired and didnt feel like dealing with GUV anymore. |

Just got back -- it's 10:00...i didn't do any drugs. Didn't drink, No redbull, no coffee, nada...and i'm exhausted ! Breaks were it for me. Everything else was meh...Breaks was the bomb. Pilgrem killed it. Every track was a monster. I can't remember ever hearing a set as good as the one he dropped. WOW !!! 9 / 10...almost flawless ! :)
I don't know who was playing at around 8:00 in the guv...but that has got to be the most boring ass prog house i have ever heard. The tracks kept going on and on without any sort of movement. It was monotonous and very tedious. I tried to enjoy it...but that was probably the last time i ever give Deepdish a shot. It just plain sucked ! 3 / 10 for the 2 hours that i'm never getting back... :whip:
The jungle room was a lot better, even though i'm not a big fan of the jungle beats...but ultimately, the nite was made in the orange room for me. 7 / 10 cause there was plenty of room to dance and the energy was excellent.
Overall a very solid nite. Guv was rammed...which is good, cause the music sucked as far as i'm concerned. The rest was pretty good...which is excellent cause it meant i got to hang out with cool people and actually enjoy my sober party. :)
Miki, Red ( sorry babe, i don't know your real name :whip: ) -- YOU guys are awesome !!! :)
Great nite partying with the TOTA's...hope you guys all enjoyed the rest of your nite. I woulda loved to hang around...but as soon as you guys left the orange room i knew i wasn't going to follow...

YOU! You were supposed to be out tonight, sir! :( You missed the raging light wars, the deep deep Danny T, and some awesome tunes at the Guv. Don't worry - I will properly berate you over MSN tomorrow night. :)

yes well my weekend was one long strange occurance after another. I have a whole plethora of excuses, and won't hesitate to use them to any and all comers on MSN today or tomorrow.
But you should still be out, cuz I know Danny hasn't stopped spinning yet!
And if Graham reads this, again, 'without fail, every time I drink, something ed up happens', this weekend is yet another shining example of that. |

Fabulous nite!
Got there early...we were in Koolhaus by 10:30. Excellent vibe in there! Wish I spent more time in there. Caught a bit of Swift a lil later on.
Spent 85% of the nite in the Guv...not terribly impressed by Deep Dish. They played better stuff near the end.
Ventured upstaurs a couple times. And BOTH times it was so jammed you couldnt move! A shame cause the music was great.
Ran into Kabelicious in the Guv. Very nice to meet you :D
Bumped into House_conXion a few times as well. Aside from that I didnt see any other TAs. Had an excellent time hangin out with some folks from BC. They know how to party out there!
Anyway, its now almost 1pm and I havent slept yet. Maybe I'll remember more later on... |

If you can believe it, i was laying down watching tv around 10:30
and PASSED OUT!!! Woke up @ 8:30 and missed EVERYTHING.
But it seems no one was impressed with the DISH....
