left a bit after 12:30pm...Danny T, still going strong...with at least 100 people still there...the man is a machine.

proper review after I wash 12 hours of almost non-stop booty shaking courtesy of the newest addition of my "must-see" list...Tenaglia OWNED the place...to see HUNDREDS of people still dancing hard well into the bright morning...the man is a master. His little interludes were fun:

"It's 9am...does anybody give a ?"
"NOOOOOOO!"
"good...neither do I"

followed by more relentless beats

I was under the impression danny would be spinning the entire evening but judging from a few of the tunes that were dropped earlier on (12ish) I'd assume someone opened for him. (i can't see him playing greece 2004 at 12am)

Wicked party with lots of friendly people (cept those two guys fighting on the patio. It seemed to take forever for security to arrive) and lots of heavy twisted sick beats. I was expecting a little more on the smooth sexy tribal side of things. Two or three years ago I would've been eating those "stompers" up but last night I wasn't getting the music at times.

Danny has an unusual way of mixing. Hard to describe but certain times I'd think he had ed up. Then out of the blue he'd drop it back in and it would be bang on. SO SMOOTH!

Did anyone find it a little goa-esque at times?

Anyone remember what he said around 5am. Something to the effect "it's 5am. it, i'm just gonna start dropping the bombs". Needless to say the place went off!

^^^ I think Danny T arrived a bit late due to airport issues or something? Matt C apparently opened and was still spinning when we got there around 1am, from what I was told by others.

what can I say...first time hearing Tenaglia spin and he impressed the hell out of me...even though I'm not a huge house/techno fan, his beats were just infectuous...booty-shakin' tunes for sure. Just as he'd seem to taper off a bit, he come back with some thunderous track that would ignite the dancefloor. Although I can't ID 98% of what he played...there was lots of old school house tracks and a few familiar, pleasant suprises...Olive - You're Not Alone...wicked to hear that midway through the morning.

good TA turnout...RJ, ray, margaret, frank, graham, sean, diginut..., I'm forgetting quite a few...met some new people...frank, your friend who's name I now forget (Michelle?) who's not on TA too much...the girl can bust a serious move on the dancefloor! ;) nice chilling with everyone on the patio.

crowd was very cool...very mixed, *lots* of gay representation...wicked vibe...and well run by the Docks as usual...no lineup at 1am-ish when we arrived, reasonably short coat check too...although the bathrooms were eventually so gross, they rival what those at Guv look like by the end of the night. Stage setup was really good...DT does some crazy with his flashlights during his sets...fun to watch....a true master. I dunno about all the "diva" comments about him...he seemed really cool and appearted to be having a great time up there.

left shortly after 12:30pm with maybe 100 people still on the dancefloor and some more on the patio enjoying drinks in the nice weather as the Docks started serving again at 11am. Graham and Sean were among the devotees still on the dancefloor when I left...you guys are machines :D Fun partying with ya!

to the crew...Jay and John...the pre-party BBQ was an awesome beginning to the night...Jason, Bobbi, Eric, Chris, Paul, Erin...a pleasure! (So much for shutting the party down Chris ;) you cut out "early" :D )

awesome night...great music, fun vibe...Danny T did indeed live up to the hype...proof will be that I won't even be able to walk tomorrow, I'm sure.

hey...what's this Deep Dish stuff on 2hp...RJ and Ray promised an afternoon marathon to rival Danny T!

edit: ah, the 2hp live to air begins :D

I'm just *spent*...I dunno how he can spin for 12+ hours...insanity!
