what year was that? it had to have been recently to be really good... his stuff recently is great; he threw down an absolutely amazing set at the Sullivan Room 2 weeks ago... and he is the top of the list for the nicest and coolest DJ/producer EVER |

i'll keep this brief: armin was the man, but SPIRIT F0CKIN SUCKEDDDD!!!! :whip: :whip:
everytime one of us cracked sticks they were taken away within seconds!! after i cracked my hi's and ultras they got taken away and the crowd booed the bouncer. i understand not allowing strings, but what is the big deal about not allowing glowsticks? spirit needs a major attitude adjustment. oh well at least i got one of my ultras signed by armin!!! :disbelief

Armin is such a great DJ. The music truly moved us the whole time he spinned. We danced non-stop from 3:50am all the way to 8 something in the morning. It was my girl (Melinda's) birthday and she had the bestest time. Because it was her birthday, the guard let her go up on stage and even got to meet Armin in person. She's the asian girl that was on stage.
Mel's probably reading the forum so guys, please wish her a happy birthday, thanks :-) Another great part of the night was when I finally got my t-shirt signed. I waited in the front for almost an hr, but it was all worth it :-D

I was kinda pissed cause I was up there with Jollins.
Then they said if I wanted to stay up there, I needed to talk to the event manager. I did, he said he was busy though.
About an hour later, here he comes, pushes me outta the way, and gives out passes to all the people on stage.

so let me start off by saying apparently in order to chill with armin you need 3 things
Blonde hair, Blue Eyes, and Beautiful Smile.
it appears the 3 of you qualified quite well haha =)
got there around 12 with Greg and Ray
thanks to brian i found out earlier in the night armin and remy weren't going to be there for a while so i took my time and chilled out in the back and at the bar for a while before getting in to the wild dancin.
JJ seemd alright. pretty good if he was just asked to go on suddenly which is what i imagine happened. the 2nd dj was doing alright to begin then i felt like he tailed way off and i lost complete interest in his set. thats never happened before in a club so i was kinda like whatever.
i met a bunch of kids in the back, one of whom was given a weird pill by the secruity gaurds. why she ate it i have no idea but it made her really sick. dumb move if you ask me.
then at 3:45 i heard the place erupt and i was back in the dancefloor right away.
Armin rocked it hard like usual. i thought it was funny his 5rd song was Matthew Dekay - Digifruitella when i think JJ had dropped it earlier in the night. Armin was his cheery self and that was nice to see even though he was late.
Sveta that was really nice of you to take care of everyone like that and i was kinda bummed i didn't get a poster. i was up front for a while and both people on the left and right of me got one =(

i thought it was really nice at the end of the show armin apologized to all of us for being late. its very apparent he really cares about his fans. I can't believe we actually got him to play 6 encore songs. that was amazing. i'm usually happy with like 2 but 6 was just unreal. it added a whole nother hour to the night haha.
it was nice to meet kendo and her friend gavin, but i lost u guys and couldn't find you afterward =(

I met him after he opened for Tiesto at Roxy about 2 years ago, he is one of the most stand up guys I have ever met. |

I think it was the last track of the night. Was it me or did it seem like the BPM was a bit slower than usual, though? Figured it was his way of easing us out of the set. |
