Hi all,

Just want to say thanks so much for the support on Friday night and in this thread itself!

Friday night was truly amazing. I received a phone call shortly after 10pm that night and was told about what was happening with the armin / remy flight problem. After being asked to fill in for the opening slot I quickly jumped in the shower, grabbed a couple hands full of records, my cd book, and jumped in a taxi headed for Spirit. I was pleasantly surprised to see a bunch of ta's online when I arrived and the warm welcome by many of you as you were entering the club was great.

The opening dj set is so much different than just playing peak hours. The job of an opening dj is to slowly build his/her set, create crowd interest and build a vibe that lasts and builds throughout the set, while at the same time holding back, not tiring out the crowd, and making sure to leave a generous amount of head room for the dj's coming on after you, giving them space to build upon. I love opening up just as much as playing peak hours as opening up a room allows me to play in a way that creates anticipation and tension and ultimately allows me to create the early vibe that sets the stage for what's to come. Most of you understand this I'm sure.

All in all the feedback from all of you and the crowd in general was awesome. Everyone seemed to be totally up for what I was dishing out and I was feeding off of and feeling the energy in the room, especially towards the last 40 minutes of my set. I really value all of you and thank you for all of the support over the years and especially Friday night. It was truly special :)

Made events did an amazing job on Friday night. They were thrown into a tough situation and they handled it very well. They are one of the few edm event companies out there who truly care about the music and the entertainment aspect of throwing events. It's important that those attending there events have a great time and it shows.

Armin did an amazing job. I noticed that he played quite a few progressive house tracks in his set and it was great seeing the crowds reaction to them. Underneath it all I think that many of you are progressive house fans at heart, even if some of you haven't realized it yet ;)

Thanks again!

i enjoyed your set best of all. that was some sweet prog haus muzik, no doubt! the dark vibe and intricate build-ups made for some highly danceable beats. after i woke up the next day, i promptly downloaded all your sets from your website. been listening all week. guess i wouldn't say i'm a closet-case house fanatic... just aurally ambidextrous, so to speak. if the beat is good, i'm feelin' it. and your set rocked! :)
