I came in from Detroit on Fri and my flight was cancelled also. Finally got into Manhattan at midnight and to the club at 1:30. When I saw no Armin at 3:30 I definetly thought he wasn't coming and got in a really bad mood! The openers just weren't doing it for me - could be cause they weren't expecting to be on for so long.
Nice to see the whole crowd go as nuts as me when he finally did come out. Definetly the most friendly and energetic dj around; he was signing the whole night! It was my first time at Spirit and I almost got pummelled by those asians fighting - a little scary especially hearing someone was stabbed. Wasn't a big fan of the club.
I was falling asleep at like 6:30 so I left; I was waiting to hear Without You Near but couldn't hold out any longer. Another one I was hoping to hear was Andy Moor - Halcyon; anyone know if he played it near the end?
All in all a crazy night, but I had a better time when he was at Vision in Chicago last month. |

everytime one of us cracked sticks they were taken away within seconds!! after i cracked my hi's and ultras they got taken away and the crowd booed the bouncer. i understand not allowing strings, but what is the big deal about not allowing glowsticks? spirit needs a major attitude adjustment. oh well at least i got one of my ultras signed by armin!!! :disbelief

That's why I don't go to those ty clubs... Spirt, Crobar, the former Soundfactory, those places are so gay. in Crobar won't let you in if there's not enough girls inside and , that. Avalon and Webster Hall for me. |

hahaha this is not quite correct. I don't think an appearence can influence a man (men) who has seen so many beautiful girls all over the planet.
Many people are interested in my possibility to meet and party with the best djs in the world. I can't say that i'm a radiant person that's why they all love me LOL (hahahah am I radiant?) but i have a secret that gives me some credits - i'm there for music and this is my only interest.
P.S. and i do not have blue eyes...:D |

| As far as the openers go, Jason Jollins was called on short notice to hold the crowd back. He got to the club @ around 10:20pm. I was on line when I saw him. I was like "wtf is Jason doing here?" The second guy supposedly had past experiences to play during peak time hours.. he didn't do too bad, although most of those tracks sounded commercial. I say the highlight of that set was LSG - Netherworld :) If so many people said he sucked, I wonder why everyone in the club was dancing like mad. Even though they kept chanting ARMIN ARMIN!! |
