aight here's the deal.
f0r those of you who loved Jason's set, hi2u.
He says that he was building up his set and if they'd have given him one more hour, the place would've been going crazy.
Damn, Cusick idk what to say. Just wow. You started off ok, but wtf happend?
I was gonna leave at 4 but luckily armin came runnin up the steps just in time :D
I always try to stay for the whole show, but I left at 7:30 because my tooth was hurting soooooooooooooooo bad. Had a root canal done today. There's $750 dollars down the drain :/

Paul Moelands played it on his guestmix for Menno's Intution show. I went crazy when I heard armin bringing it in:
Very deep lead, melody is VERY melodic deep modulated synths. Has a female vocal whispering something like "closing eyes" or "losing lies" throughout the track. everyone seemed to love it, and i wish i know what track it was.
and you're all welcome for recommending armin tone down those highs during the mixout of language ;) |

exactly! that's how i felt...i was soooooo freaking tired by the time armin started spinning, i couldn't even move lol even though i wasn't dancing @ all during cusick's set i was exhauuuusted from just standing around lol
I had sooo much fun hanging out with everyone :D :toothless If it wasn't for you guys I probably would have left around 2 :D

last night was sooo much fun! we originally planned to go to armin for just a little bit and then morillo, but of course we ended up staying the whole night. we knew armin's flight got ed up (flights got grounded and someone had to drive him from dc to nyc) so we didn't bother getting to the club till late- which was smarter in the long run since we weren't exhausted by the end of the night.

armin threw down such a sick set, all without his vinyls (he said he was in such a hurry to get to nyc, he just left them all at the airport- how sweet for us!)
thanks sooo much to pete for everything last night- the guestlist, the drinks, the booth, the breakfast ;) you truly are such an awesome guy. i'm sure liz and i will see you back @ eyebar on wednesday! :D
to all my boys: ben, gabe, koon, ryan, sal,joey, brian, nik, mike, jason you guys ALL know how to party and the night wouldn't have been the same without you guys there. liz and i <3 all of you!
great seeing dani (love the hair girl!) and meeting big mike, aj & d, sveta, & bebe yen!!
well it's 4 pm and i just woke up...so i think i need to go shopping to feel more productive today...haha. thanks guys + armin for a wonderful night!!!! :toothless |

omg too tired...drew n i left at 630am...beginnign wasnt promising..jason was awesome, sean cusick SUCKED (it was soo FACTORYlike ugh - i know i wanted to ask for refund for my ticket...and i was yelling U SUCK and GO HOME) but eventually Armin came and MADE up for being late...the beats were coming fast and furious and neverending and again Spirit showed that they can rise up to the occasion...no lasers (aww) but the lights were in INSANE IMO :crazy: when they dropped the disco ball the place went WILDDDDD. i would have stayed till close to hear the encores...but i was getting way too tired. it was awesome seeing all the TAs -- jenn, liz, joey, brian, sveta, taylor, yan, sal, as well as the new tas i met and saw -- it wouldnt have been the same widout u guys (and of course it was awesome coming wid my baby Drew <3)
eventually we ended up on the 2nd floor for the rest of the night to the left of the dj booth cuz it was wayyy too crowded on the floor. Interesting vantage point from that. I got to see Erin (tranceeyes) from where I was standing (too bad u never looked up -- drew and i were trying to yell down to u, like u would have heard us lol :P), next time. From the floor, DanAx looked up and spotted us, then waved MADLY to us. :D:D Saw Taylor (lordquinntrance) right in the CENTER of the floor, pumping his fist and jumping up n down to the beat. Met some idc'ers mike (bedrockscience), koon, and another dude while on the 2nd floor so that was koo too! :D Saw jay (hitokiri) toward the end of the night, BIG ASS SURPRISE!!! :D Nice to see BigMIKE get his vinyls signed -- and nice of Sveta to help get ppl autographs for Armin, i saw u take every item that was handed to you to give to armin...that was def VERY generous of you. :D |

The only way to describe last night was that it was "one of those nights." We hit traffic on the way to Hoboken due to construction. Then, we ended up drivin' aimlessly in the city and hitting traffic because of construction while we were pickin' up "goodies." After we finally get to Brite Bar, we hear about Armin's situation.
Spirit sucked my ass until Armin came on. I got in around 2 and nearly lit myself on fire when I kept hearing people call the disheveled looking DJ that was spinnin' Armin. There were some decent beats now and then, but no flow.
Armin tore it up as usual. I love Eye Wall, but I can't believe they dropped it 3 times. Wish you were there rippin' it Tyler. I can't believe I stayed until the end considering I drove straight to work after Tyas dropped me off in Jersey. Kinda gross but I didn't even have time to shower because I was running late. Mindcircus made it all worth it though.
Nice seein' the regulars TAs and it was nice meetin' Erin, Liz, and Jen. Tyas, thanx for driving buddy. I can't believe I'm still functioning at work right now.

Woe is I. I left at 3:30 because my stomach decided to start eating itself... plus I got really tired from dancing to Jollins' set.
Wow. Shoutouts time, huh? Met up with a lot of you. Some new faces... Some old. Either way, it was a great time and it was all thanks to the music AND you guys and gals. :)
Met AGAIN: phoenixBEBE, trunks1022, kadomony, lazy chick, raversurge, Liz (forgot your user name. Sorry!), and vtec junkie. What can I say? My events are THAT much better when I run into your guys and gals.
Met for the first time: DJ Eco (What can I say? You're a really great guy. Very friendly. Was fun making jokes with you and just chatting. I totally forgot the dude's name that was with you but he seemed like a really nice guy, too.), Sveta (Sveta is, as in pictures I've seen of her before, quite gorgeous. Russian TA's represent. You really seemed like a kind girl. That's what I was able to pull away from our short chat.), Big Mike (Your name does NOT mislead. It was great meeting you and your stack of vinyls.), bitchboynyc (Saw that you were hanging around Brian around the beginning so I went over and said hi. Was great meeting you.), langxazn (Alyssa's got a great guy on her hands. Hope to see you [and Alyssa] at future events), DJ_Buddha (You're a cool guy, for sure. Kinda quiet but still cool) and distante (You're not as evil as Serge puts you out to be. :p It was fun dancing with you most of the night.). You're all really great and nice folks. Hope to see you all on and off the dance floor in the future. :tongue2

the dj that was on was playin an ok set i was into it
i heard armin was not comming on till 3 and when 3 came he was still not on i was gonna leave and ask for a refund ha ha
but then he came on i stayed till 6ish i now wish i would have stayed to the end after lookin at that tracklist with him and remy
from when i got there there was alot of cute girls then after 4 they all left it was weird
but i had a good time, no lasers dammit made events is such bullers
the syestem in spirit rocks
highlight of the night was hearing call of tomarrow in the bathroom and running to the dance floor and once it dropped all hell broke loose on the main floor |
