In which Case the engineer corp. in Louisiana asked the Federal Gov't money for better protection for the leeves since 2001.. and The Gov't neglected the funding for that.. mmm as for evacuating, I think the point was made a while ago that most of this people dont even have cars nor ways to transport themselfs out of the city. But yeah, they should have left, the same blame we put on the people that stayed for andrew I guess. |

I agree with you, what has happened is that mother nature has given us a message that we humans are below mother nature or god and that we are not above nature or god. its funny that in hurricanes i see people going outside thinking that nothing is going to happen to them like stupid idiots, well i hope that all those people out there can change. |

Let me tell you something on this Felipe, if this happens in Miami there is only one way out for us, and thats West. In New Orleans they have many exits, they can go west, east, and etc. Here in Miami we can only go West, so imagine if this happens in Miami how long do you think its going to take to evacuate millions in the S.Florida area, and through one only exit West, meaning US1 and etc. we are ed.
