I've noticed a lot of times while reading through posts, that people would say what song got them hooked to trance, Techno, Prog etc... anyways..
I Just though to myself, why not make a thread to see everyones all time #1 x-over song that got them hooked!
for me: Born Slippy by Underworld.
I first heard this song when i was back in high school (12 years!?! holy FAWK! its been that long!!) - i must have heard it played 1,000's of times over the years, but it still is my #1 song.

no you are right.. I haven't at all.. only since September 2003.. although it feels like I have been in it for years already :D
I have seen probably about 40+ dj's though in the last 2 years and have been to Dance Valley the last 2 years as well.. I jumped right into it and there was NO looking back for me :crazy:
edit: the very first EDM track I EVER downloaded was Blue Fear 2003 - Armin van Buuren :p |

| don't have a specific song...but the early crystal method and daft punk songs helped cross me over into EDM in mid 2000. and by about november, i moved into darude - sandstorm (that song rocked :toothless, good memories when that came out ) and then onto the good stuff like dumonde never look back and push strange world system f exale by mid 2001 which got me hooked into trance! |

Well, I did tune into euro from 92-95 so I knew that electro sound appealed to me, but stopped listening to that until I picked up FIFA 2002 (which was done by MoS and still ranks as one of my fav soundtracks) and playing and I'm like, what is this tune? So I found out and my descend into oblivion began. :) |

the song that got me into the whole "electric sound" was Sash - Ecuador
and the song that broke the rock-camels back was....
LOST TRIBE - GAMEMASTER
and I never knew what it was called untill about a year ago when i heard it and went nuts.
and the best live set (IMO)
