out of the people giving advice to keep the option open...i'm sure you'd all love to hear your boy/girlfriend had secret crushes and options open to them...
really i think that's the way to look at this slylee. if it was the other way around, would you be ok with it? if craig had a hot friend that he had great chemistry with, he wasn't going to get with her because you two were dating, but saving her for a rainy day...would that bother you? i think that'd bother me... |

There's a difference between commitment and assuming your relationship is going to last forever. |

true, but are you really committed if you're planning for it's failure? |
|

| true, having a back-up in this case is just an easy way out if things get tough. its like garenteeing failure. |

Exactly of course it would but its just one of those things that remains unsaid. Of course you dont go tellin ur BF or GF I have a hot friend im interested in. Also saying that you werent intested if you were would be called LYING so its a lose/lose situation anyway you look it it unless you DONT mention it at all. Dont ask dont tell policy stricly enforced here! |

Sure you are. For example, if you were running the country, and you drew up a contingency plan in the event of a terrorist attack, that doesn't mean you are any less committed to preventing such an attack in the first place. |

why does this really smart, interesting & hot guy in my photography class have to like me?
i totally have a crush on him, but i love my boyfriend too.
no really i friggin live for craig...but i don't know...this guy is just super interesting and we have this ridiculous chemistry together. i have to keep myself from blushing when i think about him. he even met craig on a photography fieldtrip i had to go on (craig drove to south beach to have breakfast with my classmates and me after our fieldtrip one morning like 3 weeks ago) and he was really friendly with both of us and keeps inviting us out on his company sailboat to hang out, bla bla bla. i had to email him our assignment since he missed class this week (he called to tell me and give me his email), so now he has my email address and he writes me a lot during the day. he wrote me yesterday morning just to say "good morning". and he called me too and was like, "so what are you and craig doing". he's trying to include craig so he comes off as a nice guy.
moral already told me this guy's strategy and i'm worried. i feel so guilty that i like this guy when i have an amazing boyfriend. i would never cheat on craig, but i still feel like a bad person for being excited over some other guy. |
If I were Craig, I'd take those goddamn roses I delivered to your
office back.
See kids, this is why you should never believe a chick when she tells you:
I LOVE YOU. :D |

you must be speaking figuratively, and not of the current administration. :wtf: |
