Those reffs were eager to hand out ze penalties, I guess they didnt want fights breaking out, which they almost did on numerous occasions anyway...
WTF was that 4 minute penalty that Zednick got? That one had me yelling at my TV trailor trash style, didnt have a beer though :( |

Let's not get ahead of ourselves boys. We're half way there, and need to stay focused and get the job done at home. As a Vancouver fan too, I remember in 2002 when they took the first 2 games against #1 seeded Detroit, only to lose the next four. The good news is, Huet is 9230081481x better than Cloutier =P

i dont need to keep focused.All i need to do is keep getting drunk and yelling encouragement at the television.If you believe in jinx's Santa Clause might not come bring you presents.Support your team,and fly the colours.As far as the penalties go, expect it.The league made it very clear the referees who dont call the game the same as they did during the season, will not work at all during the playoffs.

I don't believe in jinxes, I've just seen enough hockey to know that no lead is ever a safe one. I don't like counting all my chickens before they're hatched.
That said, yes, Montreal is going to crush Carolina and go on to win the cup. |

HABS TO THE END! I can't believe they took it in overtime, I thought for sure they were doomed when Carolina scored with 1:30 left. 2-0 ON THE ROAD on a team they didn't beat all season, it's unbelievable!
The Bell Center is gonna be INSANEEEEEE on Wednesday, I envy anyone whose going to the game. |
