I play, been playing since I was 7. I'm in two leagues, one intramural at my university as alumni, the other in my town. |

I used to be a goalie...quit when I was 15 or so...TWICE. The club I played in had the lousiest economy, I literally started to shake everytime somebody raised their stick aiming at the net...I had the lousiest equipment imaginable......I quit...my moms friend and co-worker talked me into joining the team again, so I did, played the season out, and gave it up again. Giving hockey up was the stupidest thing I've ever done, and I highly doubt anything I ever do is going to top that....heck...even Homer Simpson will have a tough time beating that...I will regret it for the rest of my life for sure....

Montreal Canadien defenceman Andrei Markov has received an automatic three-game suspension for shoving a linesman after Saturday night's game between the Habs and Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre.
There is no video evidence of the offence, but the incident was written up in the referees' report to the league and Markov's suspension, under rule 76(a), category three, calls for an automatic three-game suspension, although there is a provision for an appeal.
The Canadiens' next game is Tuesday in Ottawa.
Godamn...now we're even more screwed against Ottawa tomorrow night...
I think we'd better get ready for an ugly one, the Canadiens are looking like a team that's quite primed to be massacred by the mighty Senators. |

i'm afraid what the Senators are going to do to us tonight.
no souray, no markov, no call-up hainsey, no kovalev.
let's hope for a miracle! you gotta believe... |

Last nights game was just too painful to watch...couldn't stand it for longer than one and a half period. It felt like it was the game of six billion turnovers. I don't know if we just didn't have any go in our legs last night, but the Sens are totally playing in another division right now - and to me it didn't even seem like they were skating that hard...
We've lost 7 out of our 9 last games...we better make some trades before the deadline or else we'll be in deep when the playoffs come, especially if one or two of our top players are injured. Right now we're way too dependant on Kovy, Koivu and Markov... |
