C'est du moins ce que prétend le quotidien "La Presse", précisant que les derniers examens qu'a passés Koivu ne révèlent aucun dommage important à l'oeil. Les tests n'auraient pas décelé non plus une fracture de l'os orbital."

THE MIRACLE WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR??

I SURE HOPE SO

Short translation anyone? I guess this means good news for Koivu - how good are the news??

TRANSLATION:
It is still too early to confirm, but Saku Koivu could come back to play in the 1st round.

The injury to his left eye appears to be less serious than previously anticipated and he could even return to play before the end of the series against the Carolina Hurricanes.

This is according to the 'La Presse' newspaper, that said that the last examinations that Koivu went through revelaed no important injury to the eye. The tests also did not reveal a fracture to the orbital bone.

MAY BE PREMATURE....LET'S JUST HOPE FOR THE BEST

Interesting, Gary Glitter is a diddler and Freddy Mercury from Queen was a raging turd burglar. I still think Montreal will pull it out, need to get away from home for a bit and galvanize as a team, rally around the Koivu good news.

Montreal sports reporters are as bad as the British tabloids and New York sports media!
