It wasnt Arnie's decision, it was a jurys decision a long time ago.

arnold not the one on trial here, whahahhaaha. we'll i guess neither is tookie either! but really i don't see how making some books because he started a notorious gang forgives for the burtal murders that he did.

It doesnt forgive the murders, but hes turned himself into a useful member in the community. He was worth keeping alive with no chance of ever being released.

I think its bull. Today was another day that reminded me how much I hate the people that run our country. Charles Manson is still sitting on death row, as well as the Night Stalker. HELLO?! This guy did a complete 180. He became an activist against gang violence while on death row. He wrote childrens books encouraging kids to get off the streets and get in schools. This man did NOT deserve to be killed by the state of California.

He asked that they do it quickly, so what did the techinicians do? They dicked around for a half hour, "trying to get an IV in a vein." Right, s. Im sure. They tortured that man before he died, just because they could. Just because the people that we coexist with in this country are completely ed up.

Arnold. Bush.

edit: PS. His name was Stanley Williams and he was supposedly one of the originators of the Crips.

yes he did deserver to die. he deserved to die 100% There is no law that says "write books then we forgive the killings" Screw the books. he can write 1,000,000 books and it still won't forgive the lives he took. The sad part of our justice system is that it gives them enought time to write books. As a governer how would you explain to the family that you gave clemency because the killer writes great at a 3rd grade level?
bangoSkank
I'm not saying the books forgive the murders. I'm saying they should forgive the death sentence. A children's author (i believe he wrote much higher than a 3rd grade level) is replacable, but a positive male role model is not. I do not thing he should ever gotten out of jail and he should never have been up for parole. But to be put to death, even after turning his life into a positive bandstand, was a negative for society. We've avenged the murders, but we've also taken away a voice steering children away from the false bravado of gangs.

did you read up on what he did in prison in the 80's?

Or the fact that he will not share any knowledge about gangs cause he doesn't want to be a snitch. That doesn't sound like a remorseful person.

To me his is very similar to Manson, he controls a group of people willing to kill who he says, the difference is that manson did not participate in the act of killing.

arnold made the right choice imo.
