| i loved rowand when he was here because his defense is top notch, but that play last night was just nuts. good thing he didnt try that stuff at wrigley field with nothing to protect him but ivy. |

Whats the big deal about this Cole Hamels guy (Phillies). All I know is that he's a rookie making his first start today and that he's got that sick 36-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio. So far today he had some walks, which definitely hurt that ratio.
Any additional info would be great. |

Ummm... the 36-1 ratio in the minors isn't enough? |

haha, that was pretty good. the part about george clooney trying to solve africa was classic. he probably learned how to work the booth by watching harry carray. he would do the first three innings, dissappear, show up drunk for the 7th inning stretch, and then he was gone for the rest of the game. |

shirt I saw one guy wearing at the subway series game yesterday at shea:
"I rather have my daughter work at a whore house than my son play for the Yankees"
and great haymaker by Michael Barrett on AJ Pierzynski in the windy city series :haha: |

corrected
the best part of that fight was when brian anderson teed off on mabry. i just wish he would hit the ball like that though. barret and anderson should be the only ones getting suspended after this though. mabry looked like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and aj didnt even have time to do anything. i was kind of shocked that aj didnt go down after that because it was a pretty solid forearm. kind of reminded me of when varitek jacked a-rod. |
