I was almost positive I posted this before... Guess not.

"Forget a Soriano jersey... I'd get a Zimmerman jersey."

Zimmerman is going to be huge. I was so pissed when i found somebody on our fantasy league grabbed him before I could.

Greetings all (regular) baseball addicts!!!!!

What can I say ... I am very excited that yet another MLB season is under way. Last year was so much fun. Seems like this year the Mets will OWN that NL East, but I am still cheering on my Braves to go for a wildcard at the very least.

Zimmerman not being very productive so far, offensively speaking. He's young, though and it's only 4 games into the season. I'm looking forward to a stellar performance from him come mid-july to August.

And spartan, I want a Soriano jersey now so I can wear it up to Boston when the Nationals play the Red Sox.

I'm also looking forward to some more Mets games now. Last night headhunting frenzy clinched the rivalry bar. Man, Jose Guillen hates Martinez! how many times has he been hit by him?:stongue:

Were you at that game Shamez?

Negative. Nationals will surprise everyone and finally unseat your pesky braves from their 156thmillion consecutive pennant.

...as long as we get more pitchers and everyone stays healthy. I'm looking at you mr. nick "i havent been through a single season without being on the DL" johnson.

Who would've thought that this year the last two remaining unbeaten teams would be Tigers and Brewers  :wtf:

And maybe Phillies can actually got 0-162 this year, hopefully ;-)

Detroit games are so much fun. That city deserves a winning team imo. (haha not b/c of their players but b/c of the fans)

Every weekend they have fireworks, and have some contest on field to give away a car.

Nope... Just watched it. Should make for an interesting season series between the two teams. I'm just glad Mets pitchers are finally picthing inside.

As for the Nationals... I actually think they'll finish behind the Marlins in the East. Their pitching is horrible and the offense is way overrated.

No way the nats finish behind the marlins. Their pitching isn't great but their offense is fine.

We'll see about that. Of all my crazy thoughts on baseball this year (Indians winning the Central, Brewers finishing second behind the Cards in the Central), this is the one I am most confident about. The Nationals were not good last year and their pitching got WORSE. And their offense, like I said, is VERY overrated.

The entire NL East is pretty much figured out. Only Mets have gone out and done some major fixing. Every other NL East lost something in the offseason, replacing it with inadequate deal/signing. Already Mets are leading NL East by 2 games with 2 games in hand///
