I actually think the opposite, except for 2 or 3 tracks on disc 2 I don't especially like the selection. Disc 1 still has some disappointments for me but is actually looking a bit more promising in my eyes.
My problem with the selection isn't that any tracks have been overplayed or whatever. My problem is it's hardly looking like an uplifting ASOT compilation as Armin used to bring us. I'm not saying anything like "ohhh bring back the Armin of old" but it's disappointing to me that he's not capable of choosing tracks that aren't a bit more sophisticated.
Guaranteed disappointment of the album for me: Whiteroom Remix (Sounded terrible on his show, will sound terrible in a mix album unless he recreates the track IMO)
Looking forward to: Envio's new production, I'm surprised he got back into trance as he said that he was no longer producing it... Hoping he's done something nice with the track :) |

I'd be happy with that too as long as it sounds nice (even if it doesn't suit the 'theme' of the album). |
