I haven't heard any of these tracks, looks pretty decent as a whole, I might buy this. Especially looking forward to hearing the new Envio track :)

:wtf:

You haven't heard the club mix of Karen Overton's Loving Arms track? It's been caned by nearly everyone including Tiesto and is featured in ISOS 5 which I thought you were complaining about which means you MUST have heard it :p

I meant to delete that :stongue:

I had the track before Armin or Tiesto's name had even been associated with it :p

Doesn't matter if the tracks 6 months old, 3 months, a month!, people feel the need to call a track old and overplayed. Pointless.

This isn't A State of Total Unknowns, this is A State Of Trance 2006, a compilation of good tracks from the past 12 month odd, no doubt beautiful mixed together in a very musical way. But I guess we'll only really know that when its released.

I'm SO glad someone of your position said what SHOULD be common knowledge.
My point: the ASOT series is SUPPOSED to be some of the best of
Armin's radio show in the past yr, so why should it be expected to
contain mostly new tracks?:conf:

Again, SHOULD be common knowledge

Bashers Niklas....
I like the 2 themes, and really looking forward to "On the Beach"
as some of my fave prog-trance tracks recently are on there:

Matthew Dekay - Timeless (Digifruitella dub)
Niyaz - Dilruba (Junkie XL Remix)
Basic Perspective - Small Step On The Other Side (Elevation Remix)

3 AMAZING tracks

You ever think he MIGHT just be playing the tracks he likes? :whip:

The two theme selection seemed great to me and on the other hand, the tracklisting is in great!! go on Arminnn!

Anyone get their hands on a promo copy of the album yet??

yea, honestly i don't know where half these fools who are bashing this cd is basing their statements from.

Half those tracks aren't even released yet, but people are already saying the cd looks "boring"? so if someone names you a song title without you ever hearing it, the title and artist automatically makes it overplayed, , and boring .

i mean damn, i do a 3 hour weekly radio show, with approx. 20-25 new tracks every week and that tracklist still looks new to me. i don't know what the you guys expect. you have elevated tiesto, pvd, and armin to the level that you think they magically can pull amazing tracks out of their ass because they are superhuman dj's.

want to be wowed by the next compilation from avb/tiesto/pvd? don't go to a party for a half a year, stop d/ling ur internet radio mixes, and ripped singles.

i'm not saying this compliation is the next big thing or that its groundbreaking. i'm just saying u can't judge the cd simply because u've heard a couple tracks before.

Listening now. I'm really digging Leon Bolier feat. Elsa Hill - No Need To Come Back (Vocal Mix).
