so what if it is like a cheap ass compilation of the last few months of asot? it's still quality! i like it :)

if only the most exclusive cd's are good enough for you then what kinda freak are you> you never gonna find that anyway, not in these times!

I think this album could have been better. It's Armin, and this is the main reason. Maybe ISOS 5 isn't very good, but IMO this isn't better. These tracks are already played in ASOT (radioshow), and IMO there's no point on releasing new album which contain's the same tracks. I haven't heard the album at full, but it doesn't look very good for such DJ as Armin is. Peace.

Envio - For You

Amazing!!!

I listened to both CD's. Overall, it felt more polished than ASOT 2005.

The tracklist is great. I'm trying not to listen to it so I don't get tired of the songs...but I accidently keep hitting the play button over and over again :)

yeah I have been all prog house for the past 3 months so i havnt listened to any ASOT let alone trance. I had only heard a few songs on the CD and AvB used to be my fav DJ so i decided to check it out. Well since all the songs are very new to me (i dont think its biased cause out of the 4 songs ive heard before, 2 i loved, 2 i hated so they cancel out) I thought both CDs were very good! Nothing ground breaking, but def an enjoyable listen!

So I've listened to it - and it's not too bad for an ASOT compilation. There's some good tracks, and some not-so good ones. IMO, CD1 > CD2. But they both have their ups and downs.

I'm really not an ASOT whore, so a lot of these tracks were slightly new to me.

I'm not sure if I like this better than '05 or not. but a good listen, regardless.

cd1 owns ISOS5

it would get a pretty average 7/10 from me...sure there are some good tracks on it - loved the first half of CD1..nice relaxing tunes you could play in the summer but theres too many tracks coming out not with subtle little melodies that dont go anywhere..

There are exceptions tho on CD2 - 'exactly' is probably the best song on there - would like to hear more great melodies like this in releases nowadays..and 'voices from the inside' but then again,MIKE never disappoints me - he always put that little bit more energy in than other tunes..

'dream makers' didnt impress me at all, the build up is nice but that main synth doesnt really do much and goes on too long imo...

Meh............ It was a good and all, but ISOS5 is still better :)

Have the cd for a few days now, and im quite impressed with it!
Especially the starts of both cds are amazing! Gotta love that Sunlounger track! And as i'm not such an ASOTwhore, also lotsah fresh tunes for me, i have never or rarely heard. Only minor point of criticism is that i feel like cd2 could have used a little depth or variety whatever in the middle... After Walk Down there is quite a big part of trance tracks, all melodic (and some real jewels in there) but it is till Control Freak that i finally have the feeling the mix is going in another direction. Just a little too much of the same, maybe a vocal or st else 'different' would have done the job ;) But well just my own opinion ;)
