Judging by that sample, it sounds like it was made by someone using Fruityloops for the first time.

It is the exact same concept, it has been recycled over and over again. I am not saying Holden is a crap producer either, he has made some amazing tracks, but I can tell you right now, that if this track was associated with Holden it would not have been bashed nearly as bad. I am not saying you do that either, I was just making a generalized statement, it came off the wrong way ;)

Safari and Darkest Star remixes all over this track. If you cant realise the difference in production and structures, then I wont bother trying to convince you further.

I guess I'll just agree to disagree then. No harm done.

Well, for starters, those tracks have abstract layering and a noticeable depth to them. Click is about as deep as a kiddie pool with a new element introduced every, oh, 45 seconds, and the beginning drum pattern ends the song without much else for the last 3 minutes of the track. That's over a third of the track being some simple, recycled drum pattern with NOTHING else.

is people on this site with agendas which force them to support artists no matter how terrible the result of their product is.

.

Like i said earlier in this thread. Signs of ignorant fanboy behaviour are all too obvious in this thread.

Yep.

Just for the record, I wanna' know why so many people think by making this track Steve & Seb are trying to "jump into the minimal bandwagon." First of all, the only minimal bandwagon that exists is in Germany, local clubs in certain cities, and here... on TA. I don't think that's enough fans for an artist to suddenly say... HEY SEBASTIAN! LET'S MAKE A MINIMAL TRACK BEFORE WE LOSE OUR FANBASE! That doesn't make sense to me.

Second of all, have you guys ever produced a track before? You never sit down and think, "Hmmm, I want to make a track that sounds like this." The first step is to play with some machines, find something you like and build on it. There is never any "Minimal track or bust" feeling.

Also... I'm not defending Steve & Seb here. I for one really don't think this track is amazing. It's not the worst piece of crap, doesn't need to exist, they suck now track either, but I just want you guys to open up your eyes for a second and realize that not everyone is trying to give dance music a slap in the face everyday.

and the saddest thing of all...

producers like angello & ingrosso who have the ability to make great tracks, but waste their potential because they would rather be popular and produce a lot of crap to people that don't know any better than be respected for making great work.

i don't agree with this at all. i love when a [hated] producer makes a not so great production, because then it gives the masses all reason to completely bash them.

your comment doesn't even make sense...how would they get popular by making crap? i think they overall make great work...and the whole "them jumping on the bandwagon" deal is freaking so tired, it's like people need to think of original concepts.

the swedish mafia has influenced house a lot over the past few years...they have developed their own sound, unlike some producers who have been doing this for 10+ years. but whatever, props to them...when you have this many haters, you know you have made it somewhere..

i just had to check this out

tbh, i dont see how this is getting -1/10 and 0/10 reviews...i mean, yeah it sucks, but it's not the worst thing to ever exist by any means...how bout 2 or 3 out of 10

this track is getting more hype than it deserves...good and bad. What I dont understand is how this is an 8 min track. It doesn nothing really. But iv heard a ton of trance tracks out there way worse than this.

bottom line, this shouldnt be talked about...it should be forgotten...no good hype, and no rediculous bashing of it either. Rediculous bashing only made me waste my time checking it out for s, and the track doesnt deserve the attention.
