| Ok thank you for finally expressing that these people aren't the worst ever in dance music... Trust me they aren't the best either. I've been admitting that this track is not awesome, but everyone continually said it was the worst track in the world. Nice to finally understand you guys Clovis and Floorfiller :p |

i remember when i heard Yo Yo Kidz 2 1/2 years ago...i was like this tune is hot! it's overall a very nice put together tune...it was pretty fresh sounding...i still really like it.
i remember hearing buy now for sale over two years ago when tong was dropping it on his essential selection...before anyone even knew who had made it and thinking this tune is great.
really i was one of the first people on this site to ever mention angello & ingrosso or similar artists. i saw that they had this great potential to make some awesome tracks, but i just feel let down by time. because really other than a few key early productions...they haven't done anything impressive. that's how i feel. |

| It's true that they've been carried by remixes lately, and things such as Buy Now - Sold, Steve Angello - Chord, and new tracks such as that haven't been released or mainstreamly spun. I really really hope they have something up their sleeve for Axwell's EM and Sensation White next month. |

In order to not be quick to judge, I downloaded the tune in it's entirety (30 second samples never do justice for reviewing).
At two minutes and thirty seconds in, which for me is usually where I finish my transitions, the synth annoys me. And I mean really annoys me. I'm listening to it right now and I feel like stabbing my wall with a butter knife.
Three minutes in, the track redeems itself (albeit just a tad) with the "new" and "trendy" Minimal-ish sound. It's okay, I've heard worse Minimal. 3:35-40, the strings come in. Okay, it's more interesting now. In fact, if the string sample was in a whole 'nother song entirely, it'd be a great sample to use (the fact that there is no bass/kick during part of that sample makes me want to throw them into Ableton).
I'm at five minutes and fourty seconds now. Now this is annoying Minimal. Great, I've got about two minutes of this left. At least most Minimal has some variety to it, or the tunes that lack variety are really short.
Overall:
Pryda - Aftermath recently won the award for literally making me fall asleep and this track is even more boring, for the most part, than that. However, like Pryda, Click gets points for having the potential to be a massive tune (Pryda if it added variety, and Click if it based itself off of the strings, rather than the Minimal clicks). Hey, I just realized that Click is a far too appropriate name for this tune, because essentially that's what it is.
Would I spin this? Lord no. Is it one of the single worst tracks I've ever heard? That's a stretch, because I've heard far, far worse than this. I mean, how can this be worse than Happy Hardcore, Gabber, Speedcore, or even Crazy Ambient Jesus Death Metal Speed Polka Fusion Core? :p

I'm from Sweden and I can once and for all tell you that the swedish mafia didn't create anything new and groundbreaking. They just continued what Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Everything But The Girl and others had been doing over 10 years before them. If you like it or dislike it that's another topic but just want to make clear that there have been other swedish house djs and producers which have been working hard and for along time without getting any credits today for the same kind of sound the mafia is pushing today. |
