Word!! I could write up a whole review on this night but to sum it all up....
Production - simply amazing!!!
Music - Awesome (second half of the night was much better than the first)
crowd/vibe - amazing
venue - best outdoor venue in NYC!!! |

| I just finally got my computer fixed, so better late than never to do an Armin review 2 days late.LOL. We got there at like 5 and walked up front to see Armin up close and personal. I got some really good pics. I just hope that I can figure out how to download them on the comp. The night went well, till they kicked us out of the park at dusk. I could have stayed there all night. Now as far as the guy with the glow sticks, I was right in front of him when the cops came and took him out. One guy said to me WTF? Then I explained to him about the anti-rave bill that was passed on the back end of Meghans Law. Glow sticks at shows are considered drug paraphanalia as well as water and X. But when I went to see Foreigner on the 4th of July there was glowing everywhere in Jersey that night. I guess that they just want to enforce the law where they feel like it. Seems hypocritcal to me, that at a rock show you can have all the lights in the world, but not at Armin. Oh, and by the way, I never saw so many people being taken out in handcuffs as I did Saturday night. There were cops everywhere. Cant have a ing good time any more without being locked up!:whip: :whip::whip: :whip: |

Had a great time. Drank a bunch of beers and hung out in the beer garden for quite a while. A lot of fun chilling with you all.
Armin totally kicked my ass. By the end of the night I was dancing like a maniac. I hope no one has pictures. |

I asked a park ranger about that on Friday and he confirmed with security that they are not allowed by request of the DJ meaning Armin didnt want them there, not sure if they were lying to me but they werent lying about the fact that it wouldnt be tolerated. I wasnt told I would be arrested but I was told they would be confiscated.
On the other hand I did see people glowsticking and stringing in the beer garden and no one said a word to them. Guess it depends on how much of a the ranger wanted to be at that time :rolleyes:

No, that's seriously one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Maybe that's another reason why they didn't have enough bathrooms, to discourage water consumption so it didn't look like a crack den. |
