I would like to know what your favorite events are, because I cant believe me and you went to the same exact place and had such a different experience, the lines for bathrooms always suck at outdoor events (see woodstock, laalapolooza etc) Armin was mixing great and if any trance fan who was not there just looks at some of the track lists being posted they would see its nothing but great music, I mean Im reaaly shocked to see that so many people are on opposite ends of the spectrum, some like me thought it was the greatest event ever, others say it was so bad they had to leave early. All the people I ran into from this board seemed to be having a killer time (never got a chance to meet groundhog)the beer garden was cool because it gave people a chance to unwind and meet other people, $6 beers is way cheap, try Crobar or better yet Yankee Stadium ($9 beer). Boy I wish I could have hung out with those who had a bad time just to see what went wrong, I agree there were problems, but all outdoor events on trhis scene have liitle things go wrong, I kind of find it par for the course. reading some of these negative posts makes me really shocked!!!

My major complaint with every outdoor Made Event is always the bathroom. I was @ PvD @ Central Park last year, Tiesto @ CP the in 2004. Both were equally poorly planned as far as bathrooms go. Also, with the immense levels of security, the number of people who took longer than usual in the bathroom was pretty high. Wasn't one of the major reasons given for the Woodstock rioting was the awful bathroom situation?

In addition to regularly going to Crobar, Cielo, Spirit, Pacha, I went to Ultra last year, a 2 day camping out Phish festival in Oswego in '99, lots of outdoor concerts, all the big indoor Made Events (PvD @ Roseland, PvD @ Roxy), and NONE of them were as bad as Saturday or @ PvD in Central Park. It literally ruins my evenings, because either i just have to get right back in line 20 minutes after I go, or I have to spend the whole night trying not to piss myself, which is highly uncomfortable. I wasn't even drinking much beer on Saturday to avoid this, but I drink a lot of liquids normally, so not even having a few waters was out of the question.

Oh, and I agree, the beers weren't expensive and I liked the Weis Beer. Nothing was comparable to a bud or amstel, as they were all full of flavor and not watered down, so i know why some are pissed.

WOW!!!!!!!! Had such a good time last night. I LOOOOVE outdoor events and this one did not disapoint. My first "real" time seeing Armin and he blew me away. I loved the set, I thoght the entire night was high energy and really had the crowd moving. No complaints about the venue, aside from the bathrooms, but hey that's life, we all knew it was going to happen so plan for it. I loved the view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge and of course the city skyline. Granted it wasn't behind Armin but I don't think it said "view of Brooklyn Bridge behin the DJ". As for the tent....Made had no control over that, the venue its self does not remove the tent. I think for an outdoor event it was an outdoor event and IMO the tent added to the lasers and light.

I LOVED the night, it is goin up there in my top 5. Loved chillin with everyone, Lyssa loved chillin with you at the end of the night. So many random good things happened that night. BIG SHOUT out to Big Mike, Armin dropped a remix of his and it was hot. Early in the night and the crowd went crazy. I am glad I am not going to summerstage this year cause it wont be able to come close to last nights event.

I give the night a 9/10, the bathroom lines and the cops totally sucked but it all worked out and I had a great time.

Filo & Peri ft. Fisher - Ordinary Moment (Breakfast Remix).. not to be an ass or anything, but there seems to be a lot of confusion about the track title..

Pics are from NYC trip so first few are not Armin related, but, Armin show ones are the majority...

Armin was entertaining for almost the whole 6.5+ hour set he threw down... Many trackspots, but I figure others listed a bunch too... I took some very long and nice vids, of almost the whole end part even... and one vid with that melodic song I LOVED at about 10:10ish... Just great vibe, met lotsa TAs/peeps (DJ Ampz, BigMike (congrats about the track!), Blake, Anthony, yankeeBaby, partygirl), an amazing memorable night... Awesome when he was teary at the end and when the whole place was singing Silence without any music on... Also awesome that I got an auto'd poster and one of the sampler vinyls he was handing out... It was a freaking FIGHT to get those but well worth it... The venue was amazing as well.. Thanks Made for planning something as sick as this!!!
Also, did anyone else think the main bouncer in the booth with Armin looked like 50 Cent????

the reason was simple for those long bathroom lines--the kababs

taking a dump in a dark stall listening to armin pound control freak outside--a summer memory to cherish, I tell ya

actually, j/k--but I do feel sorry for all the girls who actually did have to sit on those disgusting-ass seats!

Nope

everyone sounds so unhappy about the bathrooms; i'm guessing you didn't use the bathroom in the building right next to the tobacco warehouse. i waited for all of 4 minutes and it was relatively clean for a public bathroom
