i'm trying to think of something positive to say about saturday night, but there really was NOTHING good about saturday night. left around 8:30 - couldn't take it anymore and all the BS that was going on.
this event was falsely advertised - did anyone even see the in' brooklyn bridge or the city????????? NO!!!!!!!!!!! that tent was in' stupid - when it was clear that it wasn't going to rain it should have been taken down.
the beer garden in a separate room was another dumbass idea - no vibe in that area and if you liked a track and wanted to dance you had to chug your beer in order to get into the other room.
the bathroom lines - don't even get me started.
and the bass on saturday night was way too loud - the sound was horrible.
i'm not a huge trance fan anymore, but at i wanted to at least experience a good party but that has to be one of the worst parties i have ever been to. |

Seems like he played ALOT of the same tracks from Friday. I kinda expected that tho. |
yea, i expected that much too, but there were moments when he dropped 2 - 3 in the same order he did the night before...especially the B&B remix of Ordinary Moment, In Your Loving Arms and Louder...
but there were def stand out tracks that plastered a smile on my face..communication pt3, divine, 1983, arena, and of course...silence
and ur right about the beer Z, my friend picked up a light ale right after u advised me to stay away and he ended up tossin most of it:haha:

Well, you cant please everyone but...
The picnic/grass area was open to everyone and you had a great view from out there. Kinda hard to see the other side of the river through a brick wall.
It wasnt clear that it wasn't going to rain, since there were clouds in the sky and it stayed that way pretty much allllllll day.
Beer Garden was a great idea and a good way of keeping people who werent of age from getting beer. By the way, I was in there for an hour dancing my ass off with others. Everyone around me was going absolutely insane.
Bathroom line... wasnt so bad. WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better then Summerstage. Sorry if you had to hold your bladder together for 15-20 minutes.
And the sound was incredible, especially for an outdoor event. But either way, you left at 8:30 so you didnt really get to experience much from the event anyway. :p |

You could see the bridge from the beer garden all you had to do is look up. You could see the city over the water but it was FAR. |

| holding it in the warehouse was a bad idea. the grass area would have been perfect with the city, water, bridge, etc...but i'm sure there were other issues with that. the problem is that after 5 min, u forget ur in a warehouse, which kinda takes the fun away from it. |

then why did i pay money to go see armin? i could have just sat in the picnic/grass area
that venue has so much potential - yes - i did look up and see the brooklyn bridge - with the tent in the foreground. the event could have been anyplace cuz when you looked at the dj stage all you saw was the dj and the tent - if the tent wasn't there the view of the dj with the brooklyn bridge in the background would have been incredible.
i guess i just have higher expectations for a party and not willing to settle for anything less - especially when it was advertised as "2 days/nights in the open air with one of the city's best views of the manhattan skyline" the flyer should have said "2 days/nights inside a tent and if you want to see the skyline you have to go out to the grass/picnic area"
i have a better view of the manhattan skyline from my apartment |

Here's an idea, buy one less rent a cop and get some goddamn port-a-johns. And keep all the ones that you do rent inside the venue, as opposed to outside if you're going to make everyone go through security again, forcing us through another 15 minute line. Maybe I just have the world's smallest bladder, but I had 4 beers tonight over 6 hours and every trip to drain them out of me was a hassle. Also, can't you pay for drinks and get them in the same line?
I couldn't have selected a better track to end with than "Yet Another Day" because I was screaming along "I don't like this place at all, makes me wonder what I'm here for, someone take this pain away, dying to see another day." The venue had such great potential, just like Central Park has, but by mis-managing, Made somehow screws it up. It's really sad, because I think they do a good job with indoor events.

i guess we were the only ones that had problems with the bathrooms and were disappointed with the organzation of the event |

| Musically speaking, it was wack(played ASOT 200-250 6 hrs straight). I think I heard like 2-3 new tracks. :wtf: Everything else was ridiculous like bathroom, expensive ass drinks (PS1 and Summerstage much much cheaper when it comes to food/drinks) and the BS security. Highlight of the nite, THE IN VENUE. This place can have any kind of DJ there and it would in rock. No complaints there. It def. beats Summerstage Central Park anyday. Lasers and sound were top notch imo. Sound was pretty loud and also clear sounding. I was hoping it would be better than the usual CP setup. Sound is just never good there for some reason. All in all, hanging out with NYTA's. PRICELESS. |

if you thought that sound system was good you need to clean your ears or get them checked
also - very nice to meet amber and her boyfriend and also to see laura and chris (though i saw you the entire week) from europe - sorry that saturday was somewhat disappointing for some of you |

| It seems to me the only people who really didn't enjoy it were the people who LEFT EARLY. If you had stuck through teh first three hours (when there were only like a couple hundred ppl there neways) you would have had a great time. |
