The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
Israel has said that their attacks are aimed to destroy Hezbollah (although it seems more like destroying Lebanon is their ultimate goal).
By their own logic, they can be said to be using terrorism.
Hezbollah captured 2 Israeli soldiers as prisoners of war(lets stop saying kidnapped please, such a biased term) who the Lebanese Police (and now many newspapers are saying) were on Lebanese territory, contrary to the story that Hezbollah went into Lebanon & captured them. Hezbollah said the soldiers would be released through diplomatic solutions in a prisoner exchange deal for many 'kidnapped' Palestinian government officials, civilians, & Lebanese , as they have done many times before, which IS allowed in war. Calling that terrorism is irresponsible & inconcievable. Hezbollah was the orginazation that repelled the previous Israeli invasion back in the '70s. No other country that Israeli invaded was able to do that.
The US invaded & is currently OCCUPYING iraq for political reasons, and some could argue ideological reasons. They went AGAINST the UN for this. As this war is internationally unlawful, it is also terrorism.
People need to stop throwing around the words freedom, democracy, liberty, justice, terrorism, until you really do your research. Stop being an American Patriot for 2 seconds and try being a human being with the power of common sense, knowledge, and interpretation. |

| ^^^ Funny, BBC blasted US media for using such terms well over a year ago. 12 year old children are kidnapped. Innocent people are kidnapped. SOLDIERS are not kidnapped. They're taken prisoner. Soldiers know that there's a risk of being taken prisoner when they sign up for the job. I wonder what would happen if a country said that they would attack the US if it didn't release prisoners of war, or convicted terrorists for that matter. The semantics are geared towards creating a bias in the minds of viewers. Artful and illustrious as the language use may be, it doesn't fly, at least not with me. :o |

I think you look stupid if you have issues reading a 3 lines of sentences. The thought is full and clear. I wrote correct sentences. Therefore, go take your Adderall before reading these things and the thoughts won't seem so jumpy. |

Interesting that you'd say that. Most conservatives have been throwing the term 'World War 3' around quite a bit. It certainly does seem like it's brewing, with minor to major conflict between the US, North Korea, China, Iran, Iraq, Isael, Lebanon, and Afghanistan (if that even still counts).
At the same time, some liberals assert that the use of the term 'World War 3' is simply a ploy used to distract the American public from the wars that we failed in the Middle East, i.e. the fact that we were not able to end terrorism, and the fact that Saddam had no WMD's. |

as for it being unfair israel is occupying palestinian territories, these countries should have thought before they invaded israel in 1967. Technically the land never belonged to the Palestinians, the were just opportunistic in their take over of Israel when the Jews were mass deported. The Jews occupied that land in 1100 BC, which is well before Jesus was born and well before the New Testament was created.
The land of Gaza was never ruled by the Jews, so Im not gonna sit here and argue over something that just historically is backed. But I will argue the fact that the land was "taken" from the Palestinians, when the Assyrians conducted mass deportation of Jews in 722 BC of the Israelites of Israel and the Israelites of Judah in 586BC. Thats just from their homeland.
Jews were also expelled from:
England (1290): To help finance his war to conquer Wales, Edward I taxed the Jewish moneylenders. However, the cost of Edward's ambitions soon drained the money-lenders dry. When the Jews could no longer pay, the state accused them of disloyalty. Already restricted to a limited number of occupations, Edward furthermore abolished their right to lend money at interest, and eventually restricted their extra-curricular movements and activities. Edward decreed that all Jews wear a yellow patch in the shape of a star attached to their outer clothing to identify them in public (compare Star of David, Yellow badge). Good thing I realized there was no point in posting anymore before it got ugly, but let me just say that Vlad, it's not necessary to google and wikipedia every fact about persecution of Jews; in your mind, you will always believe what you say to yourself in language masked with bravado and brazenness- "bomb all Islamic countries" and all that. I don't blame you - or rather, I blame you but I understand you - it has to do primarily with where you live right now and how you perceive yourself and your "people." It is your personality, nurtured and cradled by the people around you. Maybe you will mature and see that although you belong to one group of people, that does not preclude your understanding what another is going through. Until then, you are part of the problem. Farewell, compromise...
To that end, I say that everyone who has a one-sided perspective on this, everyone who defends one side because they have gotten into one mindset and can't get out of it is part of the problem.

According to newsweek, turkish forcements will take place in this war to stop Kurdish ppl. Bush says" be patient" but its getting hard for them.turkish goverment wish to enter to north Iraq but America prevents. Now Why America doens;t prevent Israils attacks????

I wasnt exactly picking sides in that post, just stating historical facts that the land considered to be "Palestine" belonged to the Jews long before they took it over (when the Jews were forced out). And considering all the hooplah surrounding the Gaza Strip, for a Jew to say - I dont care, let them have it - is definitely swallowing pride.
I have my beliefs, and I think that Israel is doing the right thing and taking offense first instead of letting Hezzbollah make the first strike (because you know they would have had Israel not jumped on them first). I feel bad for the people that arent in anyway apart of the conflict that are stuck there, but thats life. You cant compromise the welfare of a country, for the welfare of a several few - just in the wrong place at the wrong time. |

Since Iraq War alot of Turkish troops were killed by PKK(Terorists) In this case we could have entered the North Iraq to stop them but Thanks America always has prevented this forcement
Now two Israil soldiers are killed or kidnapped and this is a reason for Israil attack.
