here's the latest guys! i know you're dying to hear my drama:p
no but seriously, i'd like to know what u guys would do in this situation.
On Thursday night I went to a restaurant to meet with an old girlfriend whom I lost touch with for some wine. She was there with a friend of hers (I’ll call the friend "Jen") and they were waiting on 2 guys to meet them. We got some wine and quickly started catching up and having girl talk, and Jen was saying how she just got out of a 4 year relationship and she’s horny and bla bla bla and of course I was like, “me too!! So she tells me that the guy on his way there is hopefully going to be her new buddy. She said they go back a while as friends and she hasn’t seen him in a long time…I’m like, “cool”.
So the 2 guys show up, and right away, the one she was talking about seems to be interested in me and he’s adorable. Totally my type. His buddy was good looking too, but too metro for me. But his buddy really made an effort to talk to me and we ended up talking for like 2 hours about a lot of stuff, while the other guy and the 2 girls were in their own conversation.
The metro guy got my number and we talked for a bit last night and he was kinda pushy about hanging out soon and suckered me into meeting him for drinks tonight, but I’m already thinking of excuses to cancel. He’s kinda of cool, but he's in med school and feels the need to mention it whenever he can. I’m like, “ok you’re in med school, what a panty dropper!” I can tell I’m not going to like him at all.
Oh yea, and 2 other important factors.
1. Jen messaged me on myspace and was like, “so u and ryan hit it off huh? He’s a really great guy, bla bla”. We (me and Jen) exchanged myspace links before I left the restaurant. I dunno why I was so chummy with her when I was clearly crushing on her soon-to-be boytoy. If anything I should have barely spoken to her but she's pretty friendly.
2. that cutie guy friend of hers added me to his myspace he probably saw me on hers or the doctor guy's. We commented each other today.
So what should I do? I really shouldn’t talk to the doctor any more if I’m hoping for a future date with his friend right? Since I barely know him, should I just be like, “look I’m gonna be honest, I really think I’m digging your friend, so I don’t want to go out with you”
That’s mean right? |

| Honesty is the best policy... plus, if he's constantly mentioning the fact that hes in med school - he's trying to "buy" your interest, with future money. |

who cares..if u wanna get with teh guy..its not like shes one of ur best bud.. happens, if u got more to offer to him than she does..she has to face the fact....i mean..would you prefer have sex with the buddy u like and possibly have a relationship or stay with ur friend and have a couple of wine glasses every now and then |

that's what i'm saying. and this girl wasn't my friend. she was a friend of the old friend i was meeting up with. i just met her for the first time that night. |

Economicly, the med student makes the most sense in the long run.
Just make sure he's studious. ;)

i dont know what the other guy does. i think it has something to do with wine or something.
the funny thing is forgot his name, but i know it's hot. haha
his myspace page just has his initials. i think it's giovano or something, but he doesn't look like a guido at all. i thought he was just a cute dorky white boy, but clearly he's italian or something with a name like that. |
