I DO love the pleasure of just my own company (as aNYthing was saying), so I guess that's why I can afford to be so selective and serious with people when I get involved with them. I haven't been single for a while, but when I AM - I mean it. Single to me means alone, and I cherish that time to myself.
I can't help but laugh at my friends, bouncing from guy to guy all the time, saying "Oooh girl, I'm single and loving it!" Like, no you're not, lol...you haven't been alone for longer than a day! It's sad how they depend on a man to make them happy....or at least to create enough drama in their life to distract them from their REAL issues, lol. Ahhhhhhh women. Love 'em and hate 'em! |

Most just aren't worth my time. I'm looking for a modest balance of personality, intelligence, and looks in lady. For now, since I just moved back up to NY, I'm concentrating on getting myself re-established with my new job, and taking my days, one at a time. I just met this one lady not too far from where I live. We seem to be going in the right direction, so far. However, I'm in no rush. Things will eventually fall into place... :D |
