No. It lives in the skin. The condom only protects the actual parts covered. Any part of your body that touches an area that's infected will get infected.
And just cause your paps are normal now doesn't mean you haven't gotten it from someone. Like I said before, it can remain dormant and undetectable for years. |

Pap smears don't mean squat, when it comes to herpes, unless you have external symptoms.
And no, condoms don't pervent herpes - it only reduces the risk, and there is no known prevention, other than knowing first-hand from your partner, before having sex.
