Ok I need the Cliffs Notes version of this thread but I say you have the green light to go for the guy you are interested in.
1. The girl is not even dating him, she is just talking about ing him. And even if she was, who cares? Its not like she is your friend.
2. You never even went out with the pre-med guy so you owe him nothing and its not like his friend is dicking a bro by stealing his girl.
Good move dropping him BTW. Odds are good that he will end up dropping out of med school cuz its to hard and end up in some joke of a major with no earning potential. Med student != Doctor.
And even if he becomes a doctor you deal with the ed up hours he works and that he is never around and in the end he just ends up ing some nurse or something. |

you beat around the bush your goign to get in trouble.. plain and simple straight out.
Essentialy you are rejecting him so just do it in a polite manner.
