Then that's awesome.. and kudos to you.

I guess it's a double-edge sword..you can SEE a condom and know it's there.. a girl can SAY she's on the pill...so can a guy.. and they can both be lying.

It's a matter of trust.

I'm not saying that I don't use a condom, I do everytime, but I also see this as insurance, so to speak.

In a perfect world, butterflies would kiss my nose to wake me in the morning as well.. instead of my alarm clock.

happens.

Trust has nothing to do with it, mistakes do happen no matter how safe you think you are. Do you, or does anyone here want to take the chance on an unwanted child. I for one don't, I would rather bring my child into this world when ready, not when it was a mistake.

Agreed. And really? All you need to do is go to WalMart on a Saturday afternoon to reaffirm that :haha:

Post of the day in this thread!

No matter ;)

Honestly, in this regard I for one would remember to take this as often as needed. Personally, I don't like the possibility of my woman dictating to me weither or not I'm gonna be a father. Yes, I'd like to someday, but not without given the choice.

i like your stance on this! ... but in continuation of these last few posts, - it's not just about the prevention of pregnancy but also about some of the dangers involved with it that could come up as well as the taking of responsibility of bringing a new life to this world. it's about trust for sure, but also about self-respect & respect for each other & for the possible child.

Wow, this thread has been source to hours of entertainment. It should be posted and locked as a classic. Glad some people can get over their initial anger and dissasociate their personal feelings on the subject matter from the comments they made earlier. Can't you just feel the love in the last few pages.

As to the original topic, I think male pills are a fantastic thing, and the sooner they hit the market, the better. If you're in a commited relationship, you can try to be appreciative of the fact that your partner makes a mental note to do something EVERY SINGLE DAY, so both of you can enjoy a bit more closeness. In that respect, if you love and respect your woman, you can take the pill too.

I can only speak for myself but to be honest, my sheer shock at the ignorance in some of the earlier posts was just that, SHOCK. Not anger at all but it metamorphosed into complete fear for all parties involved.

As a 28 year-old, and without being patronizing, I believe it my duty to TRY and make sure that people have enough information to make informed decisions in their lives.

I have always looked to my elders... I can remember clearly getting the run down of what a blow job was from my best friends' sister! I was 11. I guess that is late these days but 17 years ago, I was one of the first to know what one was....
