i was at quivver..:clown:

I don't really understand how you call clubs with more than one location "chains." Stereo is only in Montreal, and two clubs doesn't equal a chain in my book.

Wasnt it really a gay club?
Thats what i read somewhere on a forum with old members who would show their photos and membership cards.

You blame the space, but in my mind, the real problem isn't the space, it's the people, who are a reflection of society in general, who are making the clubs that most of you don't like suck.

I agree with that, just look at Club Exit (circa 2001)...to "me" that was one of the nicest looking venues i have ever seen (when it was emoty early in a night) but when it got packed with those dip kids it was unbearable.

The Garage wasn't opened as a "gay club." Yes, a lot of it's members were certainly "gay" but you went there for the music and the atmosphere and to see what Larry Levan was going to do that night.

Stop with that underground talk guys, it isn't happening ever again in NYC. Some Mayer made well sure of it and the congress closed the deal on it. It all to be legal these days. Although there only a few crews in NYC that are still gathering but its barely alive. I dunno, but I think the underground is well over lived and EDM is mainstream nowdays anyway. Do we really need underground.

PS. May be nobody here into underground because we might of all grown up a little too?:conf:
