Are you ing blind or illiterate? I'm not referring to Tiesto...I don't like his productions at all! Maybe only one or two but thats about it. And inexperience comes with the fact that you talk to other people who are simply stating their opinion. You have no ing experience in dealing with these matters. I didn't defend him...I simply stated that what he done for trance is huge. You don't have to like his music to admit that millions of others do. If you have a problem admitting that then your a ing idiot. With millions of others liking it, they expand their knowledge of trance because they are introduced to it by him. And yes, I don't know about your experience, but it's human nature to judge by a persons actions, and you showed immaturity and inexperience in your post.

So true, the only thing from today's trance that truly sounds like "trance" is psy... and it's damn good too, the same goes with prog psy, almost unreal.
Although there's a new wave going around named "neo-trance" which is nothing but trance. I still don't understand why that name... I guess it is just a way to keep it separated from today's trance or perhaps they didn't want it to be mistaken by the trance that people like Armin play, which definitely doesn't sound like trance at all and ironically enough is the type of trance that seems to be doing all the selling currently.
