JZ did a set of four promo mixes (hence why they're called "FOUR") in 2003 which were quite a departure from the sound that he was developing in the clubs (a precursor to the usual bleepety bloopety stuff he plays now in clubs). To me the FOUR series were more progressive and chilled in nature, though they did contain elements of the "JZ sound". FOUR.2 and then .3 followed.
They're worth a listen too, particularly FOUR and FOUR.2 imo. I first saw JZ in Sydney at Field Day 2004 and that set remains to this day the most exciting and out of this world set I've heard from any DJ. Great mix of prog, breaks and house. Quite a different sound from what he's playing today (one reason why I didn't rush to th Guv to see him).
