carl cox hasnt played much techno in a while.
have a listen to his Global double cd from last year. thats a perfect example.

the first time i heard it, it was a head scratcher i must admit..
but after a few listens it grew on me.. i dont really know what to expect from CC because ive never seen him live before or heard much of his sets..

u dont think that this mix represents his style the best..??

saw him in november in atlanta and it was all tech house... he was playing preatty hard... this em of his i must agree, its a bit on the soft side.... nice non the less.

and Luca Ricci and Simon & Shaker! I'd also add DJ Paulo and Angel Moraes to the list (although a bit more vocal). Dirtiest and filthiest by far are Superchumbo, Entrena and Vibe, though. For easier tribal listening, d-formation, Luca Ricci and Simon/Shaker tend to use smoother transitions and longer mix-ins, and C&C have some light Balearic moments.
