| I really like this new thread but here is a concern for me. Is there any way of standardizing the date format on the sets? They are mixed up between sets and I can't tell on some of them what the correct month/day is. |

No problem. We will do our best to clean it up. Cheers. |

That's why I rename all of my sets to a 13Mar07 format. Annoys me too... |

Still, I think the index should either be rearranged or duplilcated into a "chronological addition" format.
Once this thread reaches [30] pages, it's going to be a debacle for someone who hasn't visited this thread since page [12] to see what's been uploaded since that time.
Just my input... |

From everyone I have spoken to, and from my personal experience, the Page Index Format that was used in the past is less than optimal. Not quite a "debacle", but not all that user friendly either.
Feel free to correct me if you think I'm mistaken, but I believe most people are primarily looking for sets from their favourite artist/DJ, and the easiest way to do that is by scrolling an alphabetical index. Once they locate the artist they are looking for, it is quite easy to identify if they have all the sets or not (especially if we do a better job with the dates AND keep each artist's sets in chronological order).
For those people who are interested in the latest posts, they can either navigate the rest of the thread one page at a time, or look for an "*" which will be placed beside sets in the Set Index listing and which will identify those that have been posted in the past week (or two - we are still undecided.)
Anyway, it is possible that I am totally out to lunch, so any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks again. |
