I can see how you see it that way, but ultimately the video needs to be released for the greater good of society. |
Yes. The mass media always knows what's in the public interest. |

Care to elaborate on why you think that? |

I'm really glad NBC released the videos to further torture the families of the victims as well as giving the gunman the exact publicity he was hoping for   |
I agree with you there |

the kid i was talking about was not a stretch... i didn't say it just because they are both korean, from what i see, their personalities are actually eerily the same... he made weird comments like the imaginary girlfriend one all the time. i was exaggerating about being scared, though
on the topic of gun control:
if this one case gives more weight to either side, it's on the side of loose gun control laws, the idea that someone with a gun could have stopped this. a gun control law will not prevent a premeditated mass murder.
however, i myself am all for strict gun control laws... i don't think the chance of stopping an occasional act like this outweighs all the more common impulsive murders and other crimes that go along with guns being easy to get. |

WHY did they sell him guns when a court, 2 years earlier, declared him mentally ill, suicidal and a danger to others????
That deserves a serious WTF! they did a quick background check and he had a clean criminal record. why didnt that court order appear somewhere on his record??? They sold guns to a nut job. |

Hmmm, who's gonna make the first insensitive remark? Vivid Boi? Me@at? JennyPie? lol
Truly a tragedy, biggest killing in US history, anywhere. Not just in a school. 31 people dead. Poor kids. |
How about.. looks like I found my Hallowe'en costume 6 months early.
For real though.. I don't understand why guns are legal at all, mentally ill or not. Why does ANYONE, other than police officers, NEED a gun. I will honestly never understand this.
Furthermore.. why is the deaths of 33 Americans such a big deal. Hundreds of people are getting killed overseas each and every day and no one gives two s about it. Oh yeah, I forgot.. American lives are more important. |
