Link? I'm curious to know what a "marijuana only" death is.

"Marijuana only" means where marijuana was the only drug reported (found) to be used by the person who died (at the time of death).

77% of the time marijuana is found along with another drug. The above data only reports on the other 23% (thus marijuana only).

I don't have the link - you can search for the source yourself however.

this guy just went out and bought a gun for the purpoase of getting a gun because he was hot and needed it then. maybe if there was an anti-gun law it would have been harder to get a gun for him. me and my friend were talking today about how easy is it really to get a gun? like who would you have to know if you couldnt go out and buy one??

So how easy is it to get marijuana or ecstasy? Even if you had no idea where to start, what do you think it would take - two, maybe three days to find some? Banning a particular product doesn't generally make it that much more difficult to find if it's a product that a lot of people still want.

You don't know where to find a gun because you aren't interested; an interested party could find one easily, and they often do here in Canada.

People also need to disabuse themselves of the notion that these acts are committed in the heat of the moment without thinking. It's true that there is usually a breaking point, a "snap" so to speak, but in most cases the crime itself is planned well in advance and these people are just waiting for the opportunity to commit it. If this person was unstable for several months or even years (and we know he was), he would have just gotten the gun earlier in preparation.

Please - stop using every murder as an excuse to push a political agenda. Toronto's gun crime rates are higher than many large permissive U.S. cities.

you know what i realized... i know a kid a lot like him from high school. he was also north korean and really ed up, he was really awkward and would always talk about suicide in class and saying how he wanted to kill people. i could totally see him writing that play i linked.

there was even a facebook group entitled his fan club... that had 50 something people from my high school/mac who knew him, and talked about their ridiculous experiences talking to the kid.. it had to be disbanded because he eventually got facebook and saw it.. lol.. i joined it and uploaded a picture of the north korean flag before that happened, so if he has a list no doubt i'm on it..

i'm scared :(

The dude is South Korean. FFS.

I have a good laugh whenever anyone asks me if I'm from North Korea.

Anyways. Read the National Post today. I think first 7 pgs of it was about the video and analyzing every single piece of info that the media got their hands on.

Yeah it's newsworthy, but 7 ing pages about an event that happened couple of days ago not even in Canada?
Jesus ing Christ. The the rest of the news section didn't even have much of a news in Canada or international. FFS some story about an interview with Korean student association at Queen's got half a page on pg 5.

No wonder I don't hold the Canadian media in much of an esteem. Sensationalist journalism and half the time they can't even get the facts straight.
