Strangely enough, that's how me and her met too.

It's kind of annoying to spend most of the night just trying to survive.
No room to dance in the Guv until 5am.
The drink still sucks in term of sweatiness, and the back area is too bright.
Never mind the bollocks of a line going in.

I think I'll make it my last time there.

Good night despite the already discussed ty ass line.

The KH, Orange Room and Gallery was surprisingly easy access and barely packed for most of the night. Which was just fantastic because I planned to be in those rooms for most of the night!

Good tunes, but barely saw friendly faces. Overall it was a quality night worth not missing.

The line was actually not that bad, especially when they opened up the second line at around 11:30 into the Koolhaus, in my opinion it moved pretty quickly and I was surprised.

The problem however, was with the crowd inside. Was in the Guv for about half of Orkidea's set. Great stuff, first time I've seen him live but it really kept me movin, and I was having a ball. At about 12:48 (I remember looking at my phone for the time), I was squished in the middle like a sardine. Being bumped to my right, a guy pushing from the back, people trying to get through on my left, and the guy infront of me pushing further and further back. It got to the point where it took effort just to get my hands in the air without hitting someone. It made the night really sub par, and ended up leaving halfway through ATB's set because I really couldn't stand the crowd, especially when half of them are there for the name ATB, and not really to dance.

Maybe they should have put trance in the Koolhaus, there's more room there and its closer to the exit :p (got lost while trying to get out of the place, went from room to room..lol). Anyways, it was a disappointing night for me and my friend from Montreal. Have to redeem myself by going to Montreal June 10 for David Guetta.

Why is that really annoying? I think it's beautiful to see people so proud that this awsome entertaining act is from their home country.

The last time I saw Infected Mushroom was 4 years ago in Melbourne, Australia...I was just beginning to love electronic music back then and IM have been my most favorite ever since then....some say they are cocky or whatever, but I find it sooooo funny and entertaining!!! I had a great night in the main room all night...was hot and sweaty and crowded, but nothing less to be expected at the Guv.

The other acts were a good surprise..I didn't even know who else was going to be there but enjoyed the whole night.

I'm not super mad about the line up part, I'm just annoyed that the line moved THAT slowly considering the previous times I've been to Guv at that time and had NO issues getting in via G list. Ah well, if I hit up Ferry @ Skybar I will show up at 10 on the spot. (or 9 if the doors open by then).

Anyway, glad you all had fun. It was super ty that Orkidea was on SO early. They should have had atb open after mark oliver, then orkidea, then infected then Joof imo.

Short and sweet:

Guestlist line:

THE DRINK: Hands down the best tunes  to hot (100000 degree's) :eyes:

SKYBAR: Awesome tunes :toocool: kinda cold up there tho

Changes to Guv: Not bad I guess.... didn't spend enough time in main room tho

OVER ALL: :D

Last Sunday’s Freedom event @ Guvernment in Toronto was amazing. It was my sixth gig in Canada but first one at this 10 year old legendary venue. They are just in middle of renovations which looked great with 15m led screen in main room being quite an attention grabber. Line-up included John 00 Fleming, Fedde Le Grand, Shy FX, Mark Knight, Seb Fontaine, Adam Freeland, Infected Mushrooms and many others with 6000 people in six rooms rocking it big time.

The production was super professional so big thanks to Jose and Tal for bringing me over. It was also great to meet up with Andre from Sonic State, Del from Tranceaddict, Ari from Temporal Rhythm, Linda, Joey, Laura, Ome, Nick, Alona, DJ Amps and big bunch of other people I’ve got to know during the years. Looking forward to the next time already.

Tracklist from my gig can be found at Playlist section of this site and some pictures hopefully soon at Schedule section. If you have any pictures and are using Flickr, please add orkidea20052007 tag to your pictures and they will appear automatically in that gig’s page.

Why does everyone call them Infected Mushrooms when it's singular? Did they used to be called that or something, or are people simply misinformed?
