yeah.. usually a few songs with really fluffy breaks are played that late.. those songs that give you the feeling 'oh he's gonna be done really soon'. but no not j00f.. just kept it pounding! :D

The MC IS part of the music. If it's a good one, he/she interacts with the crowd (pumps them up) and adds more flow to a track. They basically keep the energy going.
I hate ty ones though. When the MC sucks at their rhymes, talks too loud (so you can barely hear the music), or doesn't interact properly with the crowd, it can ruin the entire set for me. I only really appreciate two or three MCs. Messinian, MC Kay, and Tali.

Reasonble. AS long as the MC doesn't go off tune it should all be good.

The MC for POTD was pretty good imo. He didn't talk too much/loud/etc. and had nice crowd interaction. at one point he jumped the fence and did his thing dancing/walking around in the crowd. good showmanship.

Yeah, Messinian is awesome. And he has gorgeous eyes and a really nice voice...

You can tell that he really likes what he does.

yea definitely. he knew exactly how to compliment the music.

at one point one of the Theory MC's jumped on the stage with Messinian... and holy crap did he suck balls... you could see Messinian lookin' at this guy at times with a "shut-the--up" expression.

is it just me or... generally speaking, the international/bigger name MCs are either neutral or good for the party... but the past few events the local theory MCs in suck and ruin good sets.

Well i guess thats why theyre not international MC's. I find theres to many crappy MC's, id rather a dnb dj plays without then one then with, because more often then not they piss me off.

That being said the MC's at events like Freedom and WDnB generally add to the event. I think thats because theres alot more money spent on finding talent, not just a local to rhyme along.

Dieselboy's statement pretty much sums it up.

Which events have you attended lately?

And yeah, the international ones are usually much better. They have had more practise, and know how to use their voices. But I still get frustrated with a lot of them...

Its actually been a while since my last DnB event... I can't even remember the last one to be honest.

I usually don't have anyone to go with :(
thats why big events like these with house + trance headliners workout nicely.

however the past few Theory events I went to, I hated the local theory MCs... they really ruined some good tracks by screaming random over it.
