I guess I'm one of the few who's line-up troubles weren't that bad.
I gotta beat a dead horse but I'll be quick...
Drink was awesome. IMO It's ALWAYS a sauna at Freedom/LOL...but It did seem a few degrees hotter on Sunday (Thank God for skybar)
KoolHaus was BONE RATTLING LOUD...impossible to do anything but go nuts in there!!! ANd LOTS of room to dance. WICKED. I remember LOL last year (or 2 years ago) DnB was in the Drink and I thought it was a terrible idea.
KOOLHAUS OPENED LATE!!!! After 11:30... suprised nobody mentioned that yet. DAMN CONCERT.
Skybar open till 6:30 was good. Seems early but with all the "skybar is closing down gossip" I figure 6:30 is fine. It's better than 5 am.
The reno's really did clear up the usual congestion spots in the main room. Or maybe I wasn't there when it was at peak capacity. |

omg what a wikked party the line up granted sucked majorly but the new guv looks so wikked and more spacious.
Music wikked , my fav was chase and status dnb set and breaks set rockin, the drink was soo hot and the gallery was not as packed as it usually is. it wasnt to packed and everyone was having a great time.
great seeing everyone , esp nat and magda you girls rock |

fack...I thought I saw you in The Drink, but I was so wrecked after 15 drinks on the boat, a couple at Mink, a couple at my buddy's place, then after arriving at The Drink a bit after 1 and realizing 2am was soon approaching, 5 more frosty beverages.
So yeah, my recollections don't hold much water...or vodka, or corona, for that matter. |
