What time did he go on? I took off pretty early, around 4:30... |
Um, you wouldn't have missed him then, he was on early...
the Drink lineup was (correct me if I'm wrong)
- Joee Cons
- M&S (who played an amazing experimental drugged out set)
- FLG
- Seb
- Mark Knight
- Dekoze
(honestly, how world class is that lineup, in the Drink alone) wow |

Funhaus is a much better venue for him IMHO. He's not under pressure from the Edge douche bags to play their "top 30 @ 30" at the club for the kiddies.

did they play any starwars remixes? |
LOL I heard what i usually hear, and saw what I usually saw in that place. Dunno who got on the decks after 4am but he snuck in some mainstream-but-darkroom house, for example: MSTRKRFT - Neon Knights.
I haven't slept yet so yeah.... |

| John 00 Fleming was good, the rest of the night it was too packed and the SkyBar was the only escape from pushy people |

Jchungs review
well got there around 1030.... and the lineup was already ridiculous... winding around that bus. managed to squeeze in with some friends near the front and still waited 45 min. once inside took a quick look around guv. like the renovations. vip section is interesting. def think it adds to the main room. i get into the drink and damn... party was already rocking in there. from then on, i could only be found in the drink or skybar. fedde 9/10. fontaine (heard only a few parts) 8/10 Mark knight 10.111/10. awesome set. my goal of hearing columbian soul was fulfilled. i would agree with jon jon about the originality. many of his sets use same tracks and in the same progression. but still enjoyed it thoroughly.
i think the drink should work on ventilation... it was so gross in there. the amount of germs probably floating around in that steambath must be quite high. skybar was def a saviour. and seeing the steam come through the stairwell just proves the temperature difference.
i was planning on checking out orkidea, atb, IM, fleming since ive never seen them before, but i just couldnt bring myself to leave the drink/skybar. too bad. great vibe and great tunes for me
overall: 9.1/10 |

haha i saw you! :P
i went to guv at around 10pm-ish, got a frd to get near the front of the line so we didn't wait that long to get in. lol i spent most of my night up in skybar. weather was nice and barrato killed it! and seeing the sunrise? sweeet! the drink was incredibly stuffy but they sure had a lot of good music there!! i thought it was totally worth the money...! i stayed till 8:30am and went to CZ after...lol. my legs are so sore right now...
awesome night!! |

Drove 40 mins to the Guv, stood in line for 2 hours, then they close GL 10 mins before I get in, I couldn't afford $50 cover, so turned around and drove 40 mins home.
I'm shocked that I'm not more pissed off than I actually am. I guess it was a sign I wasn't supposed to be there. It's not like I never been to the Guv before, or seen JOOF 10x before, but I mostly wanted to party with my friends :( |
Wtf dude, I thought for sure you'd stick it out and get in. It's a sign methinks, half of us who waited all together for THAT long ended up bailing...I will seriously think about checkout Guv/Skybar for Ferry. |

...with the over capacity then i would have hated it too but thats nothing new at the Guv (its obvious that "someone" is being payed/bribed for breaking the law (fire codes, etc.) with regards to the OVER crowdedness in that place...its just a matter of time when someone DIES:rolleyes: )...
....BUT if I was gonna go then I would have hung out in the Gallery because the tunes are always kickass in there....especially when RobbG. spins:) |
