We were there at 10:30 and the line for both tix and guest was at least 1.5 - 2 hours by then. Totally unorganized and the leftover rock bus in the middle of everything didn't help either. Big surprise they squeezed in a rock concert before the event in the KH which no doubt contributed the complete disarray and confusion in getting people into the club from the get go. It was a complete mess and totally unnecessary. |

actually we were in line at 10.30 and still waited 2 1/2 hours. It was busy as usual however, it got busy much earlier than usual for a victoria day event.
The line would have also moved faster if they split the guestlists between the two rooms. Promoters should inform people on their guestlist what door to go to...so half guestlists at guv and the other half in the koolhas. Finally control the line...use barricades to force the line to be 3 people deep. This could increase the speed. Too many people were breaking into that line and have barricades guiding a "path" woulda worked.
As for the event...quite ing spectacular!!!!Headed straight to the drink where seb was brilliant. Then headed to the skybar where carlo had the roof rockin...sydney blu threw down a damned good set (2 in a row from her :) )
Best part of the night however had to be reentering the mayhem known as the drink to see mark knight. THat man ROCKED my in socks off. The filth coming out of those speakers will take weeks to clean out of my ears. Loved it!!
John OO Fleming was superb in the main room. Hard and relentless...THAT is what the main room has lacked in so long as far as guests go. Pllus that new extended balcony allowed us to be within touchin distance of the DJ. Avoided the "sketch" of the dance floor this way and had quite a blast.
Last but not least...NATHAN!!!!!! simply sick set to close the skybar. This is what im talking about. A packed skybar going off again and again to the genius of mr. barato with the sun shining down and the sunglasses out in full force :) haha..Nathan seemed to be soaking up every minute of the atmosphere and unleashing it back upon the crowd.
im quite in satisfied :)
time to go and sleep...damn rene amesz at 4.30...my legs just couldn't stand at zone any more so we left at 1.30.

i went to take pics of mark when he was playing. my lens was fogged from the heat and humidity in the room so i wiped it down. by the time i would focus the shot, the lens would be fogged again.
fedde and seb were good but mark knight blew me away!

Anyone else notice the lasers and half the lights were never on in Guv? All the overhead lights on those squares and can move up and down, they were never turned on. It randomly lit up twice at like 7:30am but that was it lol
I hate massive crowding, but we knew what to expect before we got there, so just had to deal with it. Found a spot in the deluxe lounge, and danced it out. Finally went up to Skybar, and danced our asses off to try and stay warm lol! The steam pouring out of the top of the stairwell to get to skybar was friggin crazy! Once there was some room, went back into guv, fleming was on, spinning some hard hard stuff. Friggin awesome |

Great night. Music in the guv was tight from Orkidea, Infected Mushroom and j00f. Too bad theres never any room to dance in the main room :(
As for the lineup, I got into the KH lineup at 12:30, and into the club by by 12:45, I dunno what lineup you all were in that was taking 2 and a half hours, but it was the wrong one :-p
Didnt see any TAs, oh well, maybe next time :) |
