It's comforting to know that scattered among these ten pages of banter are actual responses to the question (though I will admit this has wound up far more interesting than a thread consisting almost entirely of top five lists).
Then again, I don't think anyone can realistically expect to produce a thread with Armin or ASOT as the subject without it developing into this type of contentious exchange.
EDIT: I guess my post makes this eleven pages of banter. |

Trance is quite a diverse genre, and I'm sure you know there are quite a few subgenres. Now I always thought ASOT was more based on prog-trance or more 'commercial' trance, which is differnet than say, Oliver Primes Aromatherapy which is more based on a psy with hints of chill/ambient.
Now how can you say just because someone doesnt like prog trance they dont like trance ingeneral? :conf: |

I wouldn't say prog trance is a significant part of what he plays, you got it wrong. |
