valid question: are ASOT-freaks more sensetive than others?
I mean i've seen techno and house people take a good bashing without them going as nuts as the ASOT people. Seriously.

I don't crusade in the sense of forcing people to listen to what I think is good music, I just don't get why people stay with the first thing they find (not just in EDM, with all music)? :conf:
You're right though, taste is subjective, but I disagree with the above quote. It's not dissimilar to reading a variety of books; your vocabulary won't have much range or diversity if you read e.g. horror novels all the time. Maybe I am wrong, and a wide musical vocab is only beneficial if you like to make music, but it seems that people deny themselves so much great music if they only listen to one genre. |
