the beginning of the movie has this US Government warning that this video is now classified under defense department's protection blah blah blah.
basically Cloverfield is the Government name for this whole incident.
just like the nuclear bomb project was called Manhattan. etc. |

there was a crew of militiamen with AK47s and granades...
actually there was a security team of 5 peeps. a few words were said "don't tape this. etc." that's about it. they really just sat down themselves and enjoyed the movie like everyone else. since my job was tied into this i didn't bother taking any screenshots etc. a girl already got fired for texting during the movie. never said anything about it in her texts (according to her anyway) and got canned cuz they caught her and reported to the publisher about it. |
